After 11 years of non-stop hits, promotions, and global schedules, K-pop icons TWICE are officially taking a temporary group hiatus. The announcement follows the historic conclusion of their massive 81-show “THIS IS FOR” World Tour, which wrapped up with a three-day finale at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

In a recent interview, leader Jihyo reassured fans that the pause is strictly a short break. “This break is really something we need in order to work better in the future, so I hope our fans understand,” she shared. While group music releases will pause for the rest of the year, members are expected to continue pursuing individual projects, brand commitments, and solo endeavors.
