On September 5, 2026, the Justice Through Science Project wrapped up its fourth seminar entitled "𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆".

This session shed light on the path anthropological evidence goes through — from recovery of human remains, conduct of forensic anthropological analysis, trauma analysis, and taphonomy. It emphasized the importance of having a combined knowledge of anatomy, skeletal biology, trauma mechanics, and taphonomy to accurately give an expert analysis.

The team would like to express our deepest gratitude to our guest speaker, 𝗠𝘀. This session focused on how DNA should be collected and preserved, mapping the way of how it transforms from a sample into a weapon of justice in the courtroom. It also shed light on the immense power of DNA evidence while also emphasizing its limitations.
