Teachers and students of Guinsang-an National High School actively participated in the Panapat Bamboo Growing Activity, demonstrating their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

The activity brought together members of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Youth for Environment in Schools-Organization (YES-O), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) officers, and Grade 12 students. Adding to the spirit of collaboration, YES-O officers from Sto. Niño National High School also joined the initiative.

This meaningful environmental activity was made possible through the partnership of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sto. Niño, and the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Guinsang-an, highlighting the shared commitment of government agencies and educational institutions to promote environmental stewardship.

The event became even more significant with the presence of Municipal Mayor Sulpicio F. Villalobos, whose support and encouragement inspired the participants to continue taking an active role in protecting and preserving the environment.

Through the collective efforts of students, teachers, local officials, and partner agencies, the Panapat Bamboo Growing Activity served as a powerful reminder that working together can create a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for the community.

Mayor Sulpicio F. Villalobos announces the suspension of all face-to-face classes in all levels today, July 24, 2026, in the Municipality of Sto. Niño due to inclement weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), resulting in continuous and widespread rainfall.

All concerned are requested to immediately cascade this information to their respective schools, groups, and communities.

Nakiisa ang Guinsang-an National High School sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 Araw ng Kalayaan kasama ang iba pang mga kawani ng pamahalaan sa Bayan ng Sto. Niño na may temang,“𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧.“ Isinagawa ang naturang programa bilang paggunita sa makasaysayang kalayaan ng bansa.

Pinangunahan ng mga lokal na opisyal ang mga gawaing nagbibigay-pugay sa kabayanihan at sakripisyo ng mga Pilipinong nagtaguyod ng kalayaan. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang pakikilahok, ipinakita ng mga g**o ng GNHS ang kanilang suporta sa pagpapanatatili ng diwa ng nasyonalismo at pagmamahal sa bayan, habang patuloy na hinuhubog ang mga kabataang may malasakit sa kasaysayan at kinabukasan ng bansa.

Mayor Sulpicio F. Villalobos has declared the SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES at all levels — both public and private — within the Municipality of Sto. Niño TODAY, June 8, 2026, following the strong earthquake and the possibility of aftershocks, to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, teaching personnel, and school staff.

All government offices are likewise suspended, while operations of private offices shall be subject to the discretion of their respective management or office heads.

An Executive Order will be issued accordingly.

Following the recent earthquake, we are grateful to inform everyone that all students, faculty, and staff are safe and accounted for.

As part of our safety protocols, the school administration is currently conducting a thorough inspection of all school buildings and premises to assess any possible damage and ensure that the campus remains safe for everyone.

We encourage everyone to remain calm and wait for official announcements regarding the status of classes and other school-related activities after the inspection has been completed.

The spirit of volunteerism and community partnership was evident during Brigada Eskwela 2026 as 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐅. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐬 Municipal Mayor of Sto. Niño, actively participated in the school improvement program at GNHS. Joining him was the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐏. 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬.

As part of their support, they donated cleaning materials to help prepare the school for the opening of classes. Their generous contribution will greatly assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for students and teachers.

The GNHS community expressed its sincere gratitude for the kindness and unwavering support shown by the local government and the MDRRMO. Their participation in Brigada Eskwela highlights the importance of collaboration in promoting quality education and community development.
