As the two-day conference ended with bliss, it brought together seasoned professionals, young engineers, and civil engineers from across Region XI for meaningful discussions centered on professional development, specialization, innovation, sustainability, and the future of the civil engineering profession.

Down to the 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, engineers remained engaged—sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences, and strengthening the bonds that unite the profession. Their presence reflected a shared vision and commitment: to nurture a stronger, more capable, and more sustainable civil engineering community.

Hosted by the very own 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄)—𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, the conference became more than a gathering of professionals. It served as a reminder that the path of an engineer is never easy, but through competence, resilience, collaboration, and commitment to the profession, every challenge becomes an opportunity to build a better future.

Engineers from Region XI graced the event with their stylish Denim & White outfits last night, September 17, 2026, at La-Ne's Kita-anan, City of Mati!

It was a memorable evening filled with camaraderie and celebration, featuring a live band performance by Broken Chords of May, a stand-up comedy show, ballroom dancing, exciting raffle prizes, and a buffet dinner.

Earlier today, September 17, 2026, the 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫𝗜 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 officially opened at La-Ne's Kita-anan, City of Mati!

For the first day, engineers from all over the region gathered for learning and camaraderie. The opening program was led by the persons behind this successful event, joined by the PICE National Board of Directors, the Davao Region Regional Coordinator and Chapter Presidents, and our lead host — the PICE Davao Oriental Chapter Officers.

The event was also graced by a stunning performance from the Balangay City High Performers (Indak-indak sa Kadayawan Open Category Champions)! 💃

For Day 1, a total of 7 Technical Sessions were completed, all with the intention of building the capacity of Civil Engineers in the Davao Region.
