Puregold CinePanalo 2026 short film finalist ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ, directed and written by Michael Baylon, lay bare the realities of local struggles. But, behind the scenes, every color and horror that looked unsettling on screen, the realistic and grotesque depictions, were the result of a painstaking process beyond the camera. Consumed by the putrid stench of dead, the smell seeping into their skinโthey were becoming the meat they were trying to portray.

Camposano as the 12th chancellor of the University of the Philippines Visayas, students joined the 1412th BOR Meeting Walkout and Mobilization to reiterate their calls for a more pro-student and pro-people administration and a nationalist, mass-oriented education.
To end the lightning rally, CFOS Student Council Chairperson Alana Estoche also invited the UPV Community to join the National Studentsโ Day (NSD) Walkout this coming November 2026 to further amplify the calls for accountability from the Office of the Chancellor and raise concerns regarding Chancellor Camposanoโs performance in his previous two terms.
