‎The 𝐏𝐒𝐌𝐄-𝐁𝐢𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully held its 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 on August 19, 2026, bringing together students, leaders, and professionals in one meaningful gathering.

‎The program began with the 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 by H𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐲𝐧𝐭 𝐌. 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚, PSME BIPSU SC President, followed by the 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 delivered by the Chairperson of BS Mechanical Engineering, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐨 𝐉𝐫., and an 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 from the Dean of School of Engineering, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐬.

‎ One of the highlights of the assembly was the opportunity to hear from our 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬;

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: BiPSU records 100% passing rate among first-time takers in August 2026 MELE
‎
‎Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) attained a 𝟏𝟎𝟎% passing rate among first-time takers and a 𝟔𝟎% passing rate among second-time takers in the August 2026 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination (MELE), resulting in an overall passing rate of 71.43%, according to data released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) surpassing 36.95% national passing rate.

‎Meanwhile, BiPSU emerged as the top-performing school in the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination among state universities and colleges (SUCs) in the Eastern Visayas Region, followed by Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) and University of Eastern Philippines (UEP).
