Every journey begins with a single step, and for the newest Lyceans, that step started at the Freshmen Orientation of Lyceum of Subic Bay Inc.

As students gathered for their first official introduction to college life, they were given a glimpse of the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences that await them in the years ahead. More than just an orientation, it marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with growth, discovery, and countless possibilities.

College is not only about reaching a destination. It is about embracing the journey. Through every challenge, achievement, and lesson learned, students are given the opportunity to grow both academically and personally.

To our freshmen, may you move forward with curiosity, courage, and confidence. The years ahead will shape not only what you know, but also who you become.

𝚿𖡎| 𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗬 𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣

Sa muling pag-andar ng mga jeep sa mga lansangan, nagsisimula rin ang panibagong taon ng pagkatuto para sa libo-libong estudyante. Higit pa sa pagiging sasakyan, ang jeep ay nagiging saksi sa mga pagod na katawan mula sa maagang paggising, sa mga mabibigat na dalang responsibilidad, at sa mga pangarap na unti-unting binubuo sa bawat araw.

Mula sa tahanan patungo sa silid-aralan, bawat biyahe ay kuwento ng pagpupursige. Sa kabila ng antok, pagod, at mga hamon na dala ng araw-araw na paglalakbay, patuloy na sumasakay ang mga mag-aaral dala ang pag-asang may matututunan, may mararating, at may mabubuong kinabukasan.

Sa bawat pag-usad ng gulong ng jeep, kasabay nitong binubuhat ang mga pangarap ng mga estudyanteng handang harapin ang panibagong simula. Sapagkat ang edukasyon ay hindi lamang nagsisimula sa loob ng paaralan—nagsisimula ito sa bawat hakbang at bawat biyaheng pinipiling tahakin para sa kinabukasan.

At nawa’y sa patuloy na pag-andar ng mga jeep sa ating mga kalsada, magsilbi rin itong paalala ng patuloy na pag-usad ng buhay ng bawat estudyante. Maaaring mapagod, mabigatan, o pansamantalang huminto, ngunit tulad ng isang jeep na patuloy na bumibiyahe, patuloy ring nagpapatuloy ang buhay at mga pangarap.

Sa pagsisimula ng 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, malugod naming tinatanggap ang lahat ng mag-aaral sa panibagong yugto ng pagkatuto, paglago, at pagtuklas. Nawa’y magsilbing gabay ang 𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral na may malalim na pag-unawa sa sarili, malasakit sa kapwa, at kamalayang handang makibahagi sa paglikha ng mas makatao at makabuluhang lipunan. Maligayang pagbabalik-eskwela, at nawa’y maging makabuluhan ang bawat biyahe tungo sa inyong mga pangarap.

It's a new day. The beginning of a new chapter in your own pursuit to a successful career to a field you chose. One step is all it takes to take on this new journey, with many more steps to a stairway leading to a path that you will be moving forward to, in an outcome that you are not sure of.

They say the hardest part about pursuing a career is taking your first step towards that journey. The expectations of everyone around us to perform well, and to ourselves as to how we will venture to closely transitioning to adulthood. The first year of a long process and development to prepare us for employment, may our journey be met with noticeable progress.

The LSB Psych Sphere Community welcomes our new freshmen students for the academic year of 2026-2027! We are incredibly delighted to have new members of this program who will be joining us in our shared objective of studying psychology together.

A new school year marks the beginning of another chapter for every Psychology student—a chapter filled with learning, growth, and a deeper understanding of the human mind and behavior.

As classrooms open once again, may this year inspire curiosity, compassion, and resilience. The path of Psychology is not only about studying theories and concepts; it is about understanding people, embracing diverse perspectives, and becoming instruments of positive change in the lives of others.

To all Psychology students, whether you are taking your first steps into the program or continuing your journey toward becoming future mental health professionals, educators, researchers, and advocates—may this academic year challenge you to grow, encourage you to lead, and remind you why you chose this path.

As a new academic year begins, a new chapter of leadership is set to unfold. With it comes the search for dedicated individuals who are willing to lead with purpose, serve with integrity, and uphold the values of the Psych Sphere Community.

The call for leadership is now open. Who will rise to become the next set of committed officers who will represent, empower, and serve the community throughout the school year?

Beyond titles and positions, leadership is a responsibility—a commitment to creating meaningful impact, fostering unity, and advocating for the welfare and growth of every psychmate. As Lyceum of Subic Bay's College of Psychology prepares for another year, the organization seeks students who are ready to step forward, embrace challenges, and contribute their passion, skills, and vision for the betterment of the community.
