REGIONAL FSMS AND CRS UPDATES | ZOOM MEETING

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BFP-BARMM) conducted a Regional Fire Safety Management System (FSMS) and Community Relations Section (CRS) Updates through a Zoom meeting.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of Acting Regional Director FSSUPT FREZEIR A AGARIN, DSC, through the Fire Safety Enforcement Division (FSED), led by FCINSP CHRISTEL G SOTELO, MPA, in collaboration with the Community Relations Section (CRS), headed by FINSP ISSACHAR Y MAIT.

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss important updates, strengthen coordination, and ensure the effective implementation of fire safety and community relations programs across the BFP-BARMM.

Fire response vehicles come in different types and capacities, each designed to serve specific operational needs.

🚒 BFP Fire Trucks are procured and operated by the Bureau of Fire Protection, with varying capacities and capabilities depending on operational requirements.

🛺 LGU Fire Trikes, on the other hand, are initiatives of Local Government Units intended to augment and support BFP firefighters, particularly in communities where access and mobility may be challenging.

BFP-BARMM JOINS COMMAND CONFERENCE WITH DILG SECRETARY REMULLA

Through the leadership of Acting Regional Director FSSUPT FREZEIR A AGARIN, DSC, BFP-BARMM, together with the Command Group and Chief Division Heads, participated in the Command Conference with Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” C. Remulla of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The conference was held on 06 October 2026 at Linsangan Hall, BFP National Headquarters, Quezon City, with the BFP-BARMM delegation participating via Zoom.

The activity provided an avenue to discuss key directives, concerns, and priorities concerning the Bureau of Fire Protection and its continued commitment to strengthening fire prevention, suppression, and emergency response services.
BFP-BARMM remains committed to serving the Bangsamoro communities with professionalism, dedication, and responsive public service.

TINGNAN | ANG INAASAHANG BAGONG FIRETRUCKS PARA SA MAS MABILIS NA EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Plano ng DILG na magdagdag ng 1,500 bagong firetrucks para sa mga lokal na pamahalaan sa buong bansa sa loob ng susunod na isa't kalahating taon, sa ilalim ng nakaplanong procurement mula sa Korea.

Ang mga larawan ay illustration pa lamang ng ispesipikasyong inihahanda ng BFP. Hindi pa ito ang aktuwal na mga yunit.

Ganito ang inaasahang uri: tangke na hindi bababa sa 3,000 litro, pump na hindi bababa sa 1,800 litro kada minuto, at crew cab para sa anim na tauhan, kasama ang mga rescue tool.

Layunin nitong matugunan ang kakulangan sa firefighting equipment at mapalakas ang kakayahan ng mga lungsod at munisipyo sa mas mabilis na pagtugon sa sunog at iba pang emergency.

Under the leadership of Acting Regional Director FSSUPT FREZEIR A AGARIN, DSC, the Bureau of Fire Protection – BARMM joined the turnover and inauguration of the newly constructed Northern Kabuntalan Fire Station.

The activity was attended by Northern Kabuntalan Mayor Datu Umbra B. Dilangalen, Vice Mayor Mohan Bayam, and MILG Minister Jordan Bayam, together with other local officials and stakeholders.

The new fire station marks another step in strengthening fire protection and emergency response services in the municipality and nearby communities.

The BFP-BARMM remains committed to providing responsive and reliable fire protection services to the Bangsamoro people.
