Para sa karamihan, huling araw lang ito ng trabaho.

Pero para sa mga contractor…

Ito ang isa sa pinaka-pressure na araw ng linggo.

Bukas ay payroll.

Habang ang iba ay excited dahil sasahod na,

maraming contractor ang tahimik na nagco-compute.

Sapat ba ang cash?

Papasok ba ang collection?

May kulang pa bang babayaran?

Kailangan bang manghiram muna para walang maiwang empleyado?

Hindi ito dahil mahina ang negosyo.

Minsan, ito ang realidad ng construction.

Delayed ang collections.

Pero ang sweldo ng tao…

Hindi puwedeng ma-delay.

Because behind every payroll,

may pamilyang naghihintay.

May batang umaasa sa baon.

May magulang na naghihintay ng pambili ng gamot.

May asawa na umaasang may maiuuwi ang haligi ng tahanan.

Kaya sa lahat ng contractor na kagaya ko…

Alam kong hindi madali ang responsibilidad na ito.

Minsan mas inuuna pa nating makasweldo ang mga tao kaysa sa sarili natin.

At kahit hindi ito nakikita ng karamihan,

ito ang tunay na bigat ng pagiging employer.

Kaya ngayong Biyernes,

isang grind pa.

Isang habol pa sa collections.

Isang tawag pa sa client.

Isang push pa para masigurong bukas,

walang uuwing manggagawa na walang dalang sweldo.

Because we don’t just build structures.

We carry the responsibility of putting food on hundreds of tables.

At para sa isang contractor…

Wala nang mas magandang pakiramdam kaysa makita ang mga tao mong umuuwing may ngiti, dahil alam mong may maiuuwi silang kabuhayan sa kanilang pamilya.

Many contractors are quiet now, but they are fighting every day.

Not to get rich right away, but to have something to pay people, pay suppliers, and deliver a good project to the client.

If we can't help, let's not add to their burden.

To the staff, please—respect the work. Don't steal materials, equipment, or time. Every wasted item directly reduces the project's income.

To the suppliers, thank you for your trust. To the clients, timely payments are a big help. When cash flow is good, work is faster, quality is better, and more families are supported.

Let's help each other. Let's not be an added problem, but be part of the solution.
