As the first nutrition commission of its kind in the Philippines, the BNCโs IRR serves as a bold and decisive step towards addressing the regionโs health and food security challenges, and in strengthening their fight against malnutrition.
We were represented at the launch by our BARMM Relationship Officer and Liaison, Halima Satol-Ibrahim. Through our ongoing work supporting the Ministry of Health โ BARMM in Social and Behavior Change, we are honored to contribute to this milestone alongside UNICEF Philippines, Philippine Legislatorsโ Committee on Population and Development, and Child Nutrition Fund.
The mission towards stronger nutrition does not end with the IRR launch. This is just the beginning of AHA! BDโs pledge to apply behavioral science and SBC in augmenting not only nutrition policies, but also implementing practical and sustainable nutrition systems.
Congratulations to the Ministry of Health - BARMM for this feat in championing nutrition. Together, we move closer to a healthier and more nourished Bangsamoro โ ensuring that no child is denied the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed because of malnutrition. ๐ฑ
