𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗕𝗢𝗪 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦🌈: 𝗧𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

The Rainbow Times (TRT) campus journalists of EMA EMITS College Philippines achieved notable success, clinching several awards in the Individual and Group Contests at the recently concluded Pinamalayan East District Schools Press Conference 2026, held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy on September 29.

For the Individual Contests, TRT took home awards including the following:
• 1st place in Pagsulat ng Balita - Ashley Monton
• 1st place in Pagsulat ng Kolum - Joshel Godoy
• 1st place in Column Writing – Aundrea Lingon
• 2nd place in Pagsulat ng Editoryal - Allen Abac
• 2nd place in Pagguhit ng Kartung Pang-Editoryal – Rhezelle Sadicon
• 2nd place in Larawang Pampahayag - Yohane Escalera
• 2nd place in Photojournalism – Janna Eustaquio
• 3rd Place in Pagsulat ng Balitang Isports – Sheila-Jane Majaba
• 4th Place in Pagwawasto at Pag-uulo ng Balita - Pear Real
• 4th Place in Editorial Cartooning - Xiyana Baking
• 5th Place in Editorial Writing - Reyena Marasigan
• 5th Place in Feature Writing - Diana Sioson
• 5th Place in Science and Technology Writing - Alleah Mae Lolong

For the Group Contests, TRT’s Radio Broadcasting Groups bagged the following awards. For the Filipino Category:
• 2nd place in Radio Broadcasting and Script Writing (Filipino)
• 2nd place for Best in Script Writing
• 2nd place for Best Technical Application - Jessette Yanson
• 2nd place for Best in Infomercial - Trisha Co**ha
• 2nd place for Best News Anchor - Jacksel Hernandez
• 2nd place for Best News Presenter - Rancelle Jabal
• 3rd place for Best News Anchor - Marielle Sapunto

For the English Category:
• 3rd Place in Radio Broadcasting and Script Writing (English)
• 3rd place for Best in Script Writing
• 1st place for Best in Infomercial - Zerlene Mantala
• 3rd place for Best Technical Application - Zanji Marayan
• 3rd place for Best News Anchor - 3rd Alexis Rabano

According to the competition guidelines, only the top three winners in individual categories advance to the Division Schools Press Conference while for the group events, only the first-place winners overall qualify for the next level.
