Over 720,000 people's lives have been claimed, each one of those contains a profound value that cannot be replaced.

Today, September 10, 2026 marks the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, a reminder: to pause for a while, listen attentively, and choose kindness, As every single action we take has an equal or a greater impact to many.

This year marks the third and final usage of the triennial theme for 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, “Changing the Narrative on Suicide”.

Now, start a conversation, turn silence and judgement to open-mindedness—break the stigma—it's the time to foster environments allowing people to feel safe in speaking up and seeking help.

It’s okay to not be okay, so if you are struggling, do not be afraid. Take a rest, unwind, and keep in mind— 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒕.

NEWS | 𝗞𝗩𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦'𝗦 𝗖𝗣𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗡

Representatives from various student organizations and Red Cross Youth Volunteers of Kasiglahan Village Senior High School participated in CPR CARAVAN 2026 on September 8 at the KVSHS Covered Court.

Held in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross Rizal Chapter, the two-hour activity featured a lecture, demonstration, and hands-on training on proper Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures.

Red Cross trainers demonstrated the correct steps using mannequins before participants practiced the procedure themselves.

The activity was conducted in celebration of National CPR Day, aiming to equip students with basic lifesaving skills and strengthen their preparedness to respond to emergencies.

With plans for succeeding training sessions and awareness campaigns, KVSHS and the Red Cross Youth seek to extend CPR education to more students in the school community.

Let us give our greatest gratitude to the educators who have helped hone the skills and talents of each learner. Their absolute commitment and unwavering support have helped shape countless professionals who continue to keep our nation thriving.

This month, from September 5 to October 5, is dedicated to those who serve as our second parents—the individuals who, without a doubt, are compassionate and selfless enough to care for and teach the youth of today.

Their experiences have helped them become who they are—individuals who can touch the hearts and inspire the minds of learners. Let us respect and value them, as they are truly incredible teachers who make a lasting difference in their students’ lives.

On this day, let us lower our heads in utmost appreciation to the brave Filipinos who shed their blood, sweat, and tears to liberate our great country. Their unwavering courage will always be a great symbol of the resilience and strength of the true spirit of our nation.

Let us, therefore, commemorate National Heroes Day on August 31, 2026, by recognizing that being a bayani does not lie in the past only; being a bayani lies in all of those individuals who work selflessly to lift other people and make our society a better place.

Let the great values of sacrifice and unity inspire us on the road to our better future. The greatest homage we can pay our heroes is to live out the freedom they have gained for us.

Every August 21, we celebrate 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘿𝙖𝙮 to honor the death of 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨 “𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒚” 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫., a well known opposition leader during the Marcos dictatorship.

He was assassinated on August 21, 1986 and it became 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟲 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 that eventually brought an end to Marcos' regime.

Today, we not only remember Ninoy Aquino but 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙨𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 he showed in order to restore the democracy in the Philippines.

Ninoy Day reminds us that freedom, democracy, and peaceful participation are worth standing up for.

NEWS | 𝗞𝗩𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗘𝗘𝗦

The Kasiglahan Village Senior High School (KVSHS) Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with various school societies and organizations, distributed foods to families affected by the recent typhoon on August 11, 2026, at the KVSHS Covered Court.

The volunteering activity was organized to provide immediate assistance to evacuees and families who were affected by the calamity.

The distribution of food aimed to help lessen the burden of families who were temporarily displaced or experiencing difficulties due to the disaster.

Meanwhile, the initiative was anchored on the SSLG’s Project SALBA: Serbisyo, Aral, at Lingap para sa Bayan, funds for the food assistance were raised through a donation drive led by the SSLG, with different school organizations and societies contributing funds to support the activity.
