-ESinMISSION | In Mission with Compassion: Sharing What We Have, Serving Those in Need

In response to the devastating fire that occurred last Friday, August 28, 2026, in Ilocanos Sur, I would like to propose a Missionary Act of Compassion and Solidarity for the affected families.

According to the available data, 29 families, comprising nearly 200 individuals, were affected by the fire. Among those affected is the family of one of our Senior High School learners. As a Catholic educational community, this situation calls us not only to extend our prayers but also to respond concretely through acts of charity, compassion, and solidarity.

“Used but Not Abused” Clothing Drive – Learners
Learners are encouraged to donate clean, usable, and gently used clothing that may be given to the affected families. Donated clothes should be in good condition, properly washed, folded, and packed.
(You may give the clothes in the APPA Office until September 3, 2026)

You may also give your monetary donation at the APPA Office.

The donated clothing and purchased goods shall then be organized, packed, and distributed to the identified beneficiaries through a coordinated relief effort. This initiative is more than a donation drive. It is an opportunity for our learners, employees, and the entire school community to live out our Christian values through concrete acts of service.

In moments of loss and difficulty, we are reminded that we are called to be a community that sees, cares, responds, and serves. Even through small contributions, we can help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters who have lost their homes and belongings.

We may not be able to replace what they have lost, but together, we can help them feel that they are not alone.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

May this missionary act become a meaningful expression of our school's commitment to faith, compassion, solidarity, and service, especially when our community needs it most.

| TUNOG PINOY

ALAM MO BA?

Pagkatapos makinig:
I-COMMENT ang sumusunod:
1. Buong Pangalan
2. Baitang at Seksyon
