Please be informed that classes at all levels and work in government offices in Santa Rita, Pampanga are suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 122, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President.

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official announcements and to take the necessary precautions as Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon continue to affect the province.

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita conducted its regular flag raising ceremony on Monday, August 3, 2026.

In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared updates on the Municipality's recent activities and upcoming programs. He announced the upcoming partnership with Santa Rita College through the Public Servants Degree Completion Program, which will provide government employees the opportunity to earn a college degree while serving in the LGU.

The Mayor also shared updates on the Municipality's partnership with Land Bank of the Philippines, which will soon bring an ATM facility to the Municipal Hall, as mentioned during his 2026 State of the Municipality Address (SOMA).

He likewise highlighted the successful celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) benefiting 138 qualified Ritenian students, and the continuing development of the Linear Park, which is set to open soon.

The Municipality remains committed to expanding opportunities and delivering programs and projects that benefit every Ritenian.

𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸

Mayor Reynan S. Calo visited the soon-to-open Linear Park, located along the Santa Rita Eco Park, to personally inspect the ongoing beautification and development of the area.

As shared during his 2026 State of the Municipality Address (SOMA), the Linear Park is one of the upcoming public spaces that the Municipal Government is preparing for the enjoyment of Ritenians and visitors alike.

Development works continue as the Municipality moves closer to opening another recreational space that will further enhance the Santa Rita Eco Park.

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮'𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀

The Municipality of Santa Rita hosted the monthly meeting of Pampanga's City and Municipal Agriculturists, bringing together 22 City and Municipal Agriculturists and their Report Officers, along with key officials and partner agencies in the agriculture sector.

Among those present were Provincial Agriculturist Mr. Jimmy Manliclic, Provincial Veterinarian Dra. Jasmin Manlutac, Agricultural Programs Coordinating Officers (APCO) Mr. Bjorn Quiambao and Ms. Sheila Hipolito, Regional and Provincial Banner Program Coordinators, representatives from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), and the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF)-PhilRice.

Mayor Reynan S. Calo welcomed the delegates and reaffirmed the Municipality's full support for the programs of the Department of Agriculture and the Provincial Agriculture Office, recognizing the vital role of agriculture in the continued growth and development of Santa Rita as an agricultural town.

The Municipal Government is honored to have hosted this gathering of Pampanga's agriculture leaders, further strengthening collaboration in advancing programs that support farmers and the agricultural sector.

In celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Municipal Health Office of Santa Rita conducted a series of activities anchored on the themes "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" and "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!"

The celebration featured an Obese Congress for parents and children, a Milk Congress for breastfeeding mothers, and an Inter-Barangay Nutri-Cooking Contest, promoting proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and the use of nutritious and locally available food.

Serving as resource speakers were Ms. Raisa T. Escoto and Ms. Maria Verna I. Sunga, Nutritionist Dietitian II from the Provincial Health Office Pampanga, together with Ms. Celeste Palad, Nutritionist Dietitian II from the Department of Health – Central Luzon Center for Health Development .

The Inter-Barangay Cooking Contest was judged by Mr. Andy Alviz, Culture, Arts and Tourism Consultant of the LGU; Ms. Jacqueline F. Quiambao, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer; and PSSg Ryan Paulo M. Cortez, PCAD PNCO, Pampanga 1st PMFC.

Through activities like these, the Municipal Government of Santa Rita, through the Municipal Health Office, continues to promote proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles among Ritenian families.
