Hindi lamang siya asawa ng isang rebolusyonaryong pinuno—isa rin siyang matapang na mandirigma na nagpatuloy sa pakikibaka para sa kalayaan matapos ang pagkamatay ng kaniyang asawa. Sa kabila ng mga pagsubok, pinangunahan niya ang pag-aalsa laban sa mga Espanyol sa Ilocos at ipinakita ang tapang at paninindigan ng isang babaeng handang ipaglaban ang kalayaan ng kaniyang mga kababayan. 🙌🏻

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and love for our country of 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨 “𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲” 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫. His bravery and dedication to the Filipino people continue to inspire us to stand for what is right and to value the freedom we have today.

𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨’s life reminds us that true courage is not only about being fearless, but also about having the strength to speak up, stand for our beliefs, and make sacrifices for the good of others. His legacy remains an important part of our history and serves as a reminder of the value of democracy, freedom, and unity.

SANTA ROSA CITY — August 20, 2026. Face-to-face classes are suspended today as the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to bring rain over affected areas.

The suspension is in accordance with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 131, as authorities continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of learners and the school community.

Santonians are advised to stay indoors when necessary, remain alert, and monitor official announcements for further updates.

Sa kaniyang tapang at paglilingkod, iniwan niya ang isang pamana na patuloy na binibigyang-halaga sa kasaysayan ng ating lungsod.

Ang mga paaralan ay lilipat sa Alternative Delivery Mode tulad ng Modular, Asynchronous, o Blended Learning.

Manatiling nakaantabay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo at mag-ingat sa posibleng malakas na pag-ulan.

SANTA ROSA CITY — August 17, 2026. The Office of the President has issued Memorandum Circular No. 127, directing the implementation of appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and selected provinces beginning 12:00 noon today, due to continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

📚 For schools: Alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the affected areas, unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives (LCEs).

The circular covers NCR, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, and Occidental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, localized cancellation or suspension of classes may be implemented by the respective Local Chief Executives in other areas, pursuant to existing laws, rules, and regulations.

🌧️ Santonians are advised to stay updated through official announcements from the school administration and local government and to prioritize safety amid the prevailing weather conditions.
