DepEd Nueva Ecija

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136 dated 16 September 2026 issued by the Office of the President, work is hereby suspended in all DepEd offices and all public schools effective 01:00 in the afternoon on 28 September 2026 (Monday), to allow all DepEd employees and learners to celebrate the “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day in their respective homes. However, those offices/units whose functions involve the delivery of emergency services/response, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services. Please be guided accordingly.

Ang mga salitang isinulat ng butihing punong lalawigan, Hon. Aurelio "Oyie" Matias Umali, sa puso ng mga bagong talagang g**o na dumalo sa seremonyal na panunumpa at paglagda ng kanilang mga appointment nitong ika-22 hanggang ika-23 ng Setyembre sa Governor's Hall, Soledad, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.

Sa pangunguna ng Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Ericson S. Sabacan, ay isinagawa sa unang pagkakataon sa dibisyon ang makasaysayang sabayang panunumpa sa katungkulan na ito.

Nagsilbi bilang pangunahing tagapagsalita ang ating mahal na Gobernador Umali upang bigyang inspirasyon ang mga kaguruan na magsisimula sa pagtahak sa landas ng paglilingkod hindi lamang sa mga kabataang mag-aaral, kundi sa ating bayan.

Saksi ang bulwagan sa saya at kagustuhang maglingkod ng mga g**ong itinalaga, kasama ang kanilang mga magulang, asawa, at iba pang mga mahal sa buhay, mga taga-panguna ng lalawigan at ng dibisyon ng Nueva Ecija, sa kaganapang ito.

Tunay ang mga salitang sinambit ni Hon. Umali, ang mga g**o ang makakaantig sa puso at isip ng mga mag-aaral upang magpatuloy sa kanilang mga pangarap. Kaya naman sa paglisan ng mga bagong talagang g**o sa Bulwagan ng Gobernador, baon nila ang kanilang pangako: pangakong pagganap sa tungkuling kanilang sinumpaan. Tungkuling magtuturo hindi lamang ng mga aral na makikita sa mga aklat, kundi higit pa. Higit pa sa mga salitang nasusulat sa kanilang palasumpaan. Dahil ang kanilang pangako, sa kanilang paglilingkod ay ilalakip ang puso.

DepEd Nueva Ecija Marks Successful DSPC 2026

The Division Schools Press Conference 2026 of DepEd Nueva Ecija successfully concluded today at Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.

After the winners from the five Congressional Districts battled it out in the 2-day competition, comes the emergence of the brilliant campus journalists who would represent the Schools Division Office of Nueva Ecija in the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference.

This event was made possible through the leadership of our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Ericson S. Sabacan, whose presence and guidance were felt by all young journalists and coaches alike.

Our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Michelle A. Mejica, together with Dr. Diosalyn A. Azarcon, Education Program Supervisor-SGOD, who both served as chairpersons of the DSPC, along with ASDS Dr. Danilo M. Jacoba and the whole Division of Nueva Ecija, extends their gratitude to all the facilitators, judges, coaches, members of the technical working group, and all the host schools and districts of the DSPC and the CD Schools Press Conference for their contributions to this success.

As we celebrate the passion, dedication, and commitment to responsible journalism of our young campus journalists, the Division looks forward to seeing them carry the banner of Nueva Ecija with pride, as they showcase their talents and skills beyond the DSPC stage.

Provincial Management Committee Meeting Successfully Hosted by SDO Nueva Ecija

The Provincial Management Committee meeting was held today at Top Star Hotel, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

DepEd Central Luzon Regional Director Tolentino Aquino led the program which was also attended by other DepEd key officials such as Assistant Regional Director Jessie Amin, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ericson S. Sabacan of Nueva Ecija; other Schools Division Superintendents and Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, Chiefs of Curriculum Implementation Division, and Schools Governance and Operations Division, and other key Division personnel.

To discuss matters concerning local government units (LGUs), several local officials and representatives attended the said meeting as well. Among them were Science City of Muñoz Mayor Baby Armi L. Alavarez and Acting Vice Mayor Jeffrey Bautista, District Officer of the First Congressional District, Junior Bugaoan, Coun. Jeffrey Bautista and Coun. Ronald Allan Yu of the Fourth Congressional District, Cabanatuan City Administrator Princess Ann J. Sabile, Atty. Avegaile Escudero-Garcia of San Jose City.

Among the important matters discussed were the status of SDO infrastructure and land titling, Region III innovation on digitalization, and the academic performance of SDO and teacher deployment status.

Through important meetings like this, the quality of education and the service provided by DepEd would surely move forward for the betterment of the learners, teachers, and the community.

Ipinapaalala na sa panahon ng Wellness Break, walang meeting, training, LAC session, school activity, reporting, submission, asynchronous deliverable, o iba pang opisyal na gawain ang dapat ipagawa sa ating mga g**o.

Igalang natin ang oras ng pahinga para sa ating mga teacher.

Inilatag ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga emergency na hakbang para sa pagpapatuloy ng pag-aaral ng mga mag-aaral matapos nilang siyasatin ang mga paaralang napinsala ng baha sa Tarlac, Zambales, at Pampanga.

The Schools Division Office of Nueva Ecija warmly congratulates the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija for its successful celebration of the 130th Unang Sigaw ng Nueva Ecija.

DepEd Nueva Ecija also extends its gratitude for the 120 school beneficiaries of Starlink, and the program PAGHILOM: A Mental Health Program for DepEd in Partnership with PGNE and Ako at Ang Saklay Inc., which was ceremoniously turned over by our Governor, Hon. Aurelio M. Umali to our Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ericson S. Sabacan during the event.
