REQUIESCAT IN PACE | It is with grief and sorrow, but with faith in the God of the Resurrection and Life, that we inform you of the death of REV. FR. JOSE ANTONIO “TONTON” ARNAIZ, who passed away today, August 21, 2026.

Our heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family. Let us all pray for Fr. Tonton’s eternal rest. May he rest in peace!

Eternal rest grant unto the soul of +Fr. Tonton, O Lord, and let perpetual shine upon him.

LOOK|| August 18, 2026, Tuesday. The seminarians, together with the alumni of St. Joseph Seminary College, served as the choir for the Mass of the Ordination to the Sacred Order of Diaconate. The celebration was presided over by Most. Rev. Julito B. Cortes D.D. Bishop of Dumaguete; with him were the concelebrating priests from the clergy of Dumaguete and guest priests, and Most. Rev. Glenn M. Corsiga D.D. Bishop of Ipil.

ORDINATION TO THE DIACONATE | Today, we joyfully witness the Ordination to the Sacred Order of the Diaconate of our four seminarians at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, The Dumaguete Cathedral. Through the laying on of hands by the Most Rev. Julito B. Cortes, D.D., Bishop of Dumaguete.

Let us pray for Sem. Arniel, Sem. Renz, Sem. Ricmar and Sem. Aldryn as they receive the precious gift of the diaconate.
