120-DAY CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM | CULMINATING ACTIVITY

Naugsol Integrated School successfully conducted the culminating activity of the 120-Day Child Nutrition Program, celebrating 120 days of service, partnership, and commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our learners.

The activity featured messages from ASA Philippines Foundation, Inc., a video presentation, an intermission number by the SELG Officers, the awarding of Certificates of Recognition to stakeholders, volunteers, and partners, and the final day of feeding.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to ASA Philippines Foundation, Inc., the feeding committee, volunteers, parents, stakeholders, and partners for their invaluable support and dedication throughout the program. Together, we continue to nurture healthier, happier, and more empowered learners.

Naugsol Integrated School Conducts In-Service Training for Teachers

NAUGSOL, SUBIC, ZAMBALE — Naugsol Integrated School (NIS) conducted its In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers for School Year 2026–2027 on September 10–11, 2026, providing teachers with opportunities to enhance their professional knowledge, strengthen instructional practices, and improve the delivery of quality education to learners.

The two-day training began on September 10 under an asynchronous arrangement, focusing on the workshop on the Computation and Finalization of Learner Grades and Accomplishment of Electronic Class Records (ECRs) and Report Card Slips. The afternoon session focused on the Development and Documentation of Classroom-Based Interventions and Organization of Teachers’ Professional Portfolios.

The second day, held on September 11, featured a series of professional learning sessions designed to strengthen teachers’ instructional and classroom management practices. Alma L. Aximoso, Master Teacher I, facilitated the sessions on the ILAW Framework: From Learning Intentions to Ways Forward and Developing Competency-Based Formative and Summative Assessments. These were followed by Josua J. Amante, Teacher II, who discussed the Instructional Design Framework under the Revised K–10 Curriculum.

In the afternoon, Lea P. Enriquez, Teacher II, facilitated the session on Crisis Management, while Jovy Mae A. Academia, Teacher I, discussed Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment in accordance with DO 6, s. 2026. The training concluded with the closing program, awarding of certificates, evaluation, reminders, and attendance.

Through the two-day INSET, the teaching personnel of Naugsol Integrated School strengthened their competencies in assessment, instructional planning, learner support, documentation, crisis preparedness, and the creation of safe and motivating learning environments. The activity reflects the school’s continuing commitment to professional growth and collaborative learning toward better educational experiences and outcomes for every learner.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵

Naugsol Integrated School successfully concluded its two-session Learning Action Cell (LAC) entitled "Preparing Teachers for Performance Management, Career Progression, and Professional Growth," held on July 24 and 31, 2026. This meaningful professional development initiative provided teachers with valuable insights into the Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) and the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen their professional portfolios and prepare for future career advancement.

The first session officially commenced with the warm facilitation of Ma'am Edlin and Ma'am Emily, setting a positive and collaborative atmosphere for learning. Participants were then guided through an in-depth orientation on the Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) and the PMES Portfolio, including its purpose, structure, components, and the required Means of Verification (MOVs), by Dr. Arianne Mae, together with Ma'am Veronica. Their comprehensive discussion was followed by a hands-on workshop on organizing PMES documents and portfolios, enabling participants to apply their learning through guided collaboration and practical exercises.

The second session began with a Message of Learning (MOL), followed by an insightful discussion from Dr. Joan Lat Garcia, Principal I, who shared important updates on the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System. She emphasized DepEd's commitment to recognizing teachers' competencies and providing clear pathways for professional growth and career advancement. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation on the Classroom Observable Indicators (COI), Non-Classroom Observable Indicators (NCOI), Means of Verification (MOVs), and Portfolio Annotations , facilitated by Sir Jordan, together with Dr. Arianne Mae. Through practical examples, clear explanations, and valuable portfolio preparation strategies, they empowered participants to confidently organize documentary evidence in alignment with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST).

The program concluded with a meaningful closing ceremony, leaving participants inspired, better equipped, and more committed to pursuing excellence through continuous learning, reflective practice, and professional development.

Naugsol Integrated School extends its sincere appreciation to all the resource speakers, facilitators, program hosts, members of the organizing committee, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of this Learning Action Cell. 📚 Naugsol Integrated School Holds Three-Day Learning Action Cell Session to Strengthen Reading Intervention and Program Development

NAUGSOL, Zambales | July 3, 10, and 17, 2026 — Naugsol Integrated School successfully conducted its three-day Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session entitled "Strengthening Reading Intervention and Program Development (Building Better Readers Re-echo)" as part of its continuing commitment to promoting professional growth and instructional excellence among teachers.

The LAC sessions focused on the Science of Reading and evidence-based strategies for teaching vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Participants also analyzed school reading assessment data, developed responsive classroom intervention plans, enhanced the School Reading Program, and formulated monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure the effective implementation of reading initiatives.

The sessions featured Dr. Joan Lat Garcia, Principal I, and Dr. Arianne Mae C. Angeles, Master Teacher I, together with Recca Mae S. Arellano, Ma. Kristel I. Caraballido, Leah Ann M. Cajote, and Remedios T. Mercado, who served as resource speakers and facilitators.

Through collaborative learning, professional dialogue, and the sharing of best practices, the activity reinforced the school's commitment to improving learners' reading achievement and supporting the literacy goals of the Schools Division of Zambales.
