If work is worship, what does our work communicate to the world?

Our work, no matter what industry we’re in, what position we hold, or how much work we do, should reflect more than our own efforts or drive. Instead, it should bear witness to God, reflecting His character as we cultivate, govern, and care for His creation, so that His goodness may be seen throughout the world.

May our faithful work be an expression of love as we carry out the responsibilities the Lord has entrusted to us.

Let us continue to pray for our nation and our fellow Filipinos, and declare God’s goodness and faithfulness over our lives.

Be faithful in gratitude, for God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

As we conclude our four-week series, Called to Courage, we are reminded of the strength to faithfully serve God through both challenges and victories.

In Joshua 24:15, Joshua made a commitment that he and his household would serve the Lord. His decision was rooted in recognizing God’s faithfulness throughout history and how He had been faithful to their ancestors and his generation. This gave Joshua the confidence that God would continue to be faithful to the generations that would follow.

May we be encouraged to reflect God’s faithfulness through our own obedience and service in ministry, discipleship, and wherever He has called us.

Let us remember God’s goodness, revere Him above all, and resolve to serve Him faithfully until the end.

Setbacks and failures can leave us feeling defeated. In the book of Joshua, Israel fell short against Ai, even when the odds seemed to be in their favor. But failure doesn’t have to be the end of our story.

Finding the strength to fight again takes honesty to face our mistakes, humility to turn back to God and seek His forgiveness, and faith to hold on to His grace. His grace restores us when we fail and gives us the courage to rise and fight again.

The Spiritual Foundations journey at Victory Subic started last Saturday!

Throughout ten sessions, the students will grow in their knowledge of God, learn to walk in the freedom that Christ has won for us, and become more firmly established in their faith as they follow Jesus daily.

Today, we pushed through the rain, driven not by self, but by faith. 🙏

As we continue our series, Called to Courage, this week focuses on finding the strength to trust God because, in Him, faith always makes sense.

Just as we pushed through the rain to receive the Word of God, Joshua marched in obedience to receive Jericho, just as God had promised.

Even before the battle, God had already given Jericho to Joshua. Even in an impossible situation, Joshua rested in God’s promise and obeyed. Because of his faith, they claimed Jericho.

Let’s be encouraged to trust in God, not because we need to, but because we believe that God has already conquered our battles!
