Dear Lamian NHS Family,

The School Administration is aware of the reported threat circulating on social media involving Lamian National High School. We are addressing the matter seriously and responsibly. It has been promptly reported to the PNP and referred to the appropriate authorities for assessment, verification, and necessary action.

To our parents and guardians, please be assured that your children’s safety and well-being remain our foremost priority. The School Administration is closely coordinating with the proper authorities and has strengthened precautionary measures, including campus security and access monitoring, increased vigilance among school personnel, monitoring of the school surroundings, and review of established safety protocols.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide timely, verified information through our official school communication channels. We ask everyone to remain calm and avoid sharing information that has not been verified.

We respectfully ask everyone to:

*Remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative.
*Do not share, repost, or circulate screenshots or copies of the reported threatening messages.
*Report any relevant or suspicious information directly to the School Administration or the PNP.
*Avoid speculation and the spread of unverified information.
*Rely only on official school announcements for updates and instructions.

NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL FOR ACTIVE ATTACK INCIDENTS

The Department of Education will conduct the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at exactly 9:00 A.M. The activity aims to strengthen preparedness, protective actions, coordinated response, and the safety and well-being of learners and school personnel.

For Region XII, the designated ceremonial venue is Lapuz National High School, Norala, South Cotabato, with the participation of the Schools Division of South Cotabato. The ceremonial venue will serve as the designated site for the simultaneous conduct of the safety drill in the region.

Para sa kaathag kag paglikaw sang misunderstanding, wala gin-authorize sang eskwelahan ang bisan sin-o nga teacher, coach, personnel, learner, ukon representative nga mag-solicit ukon mangolekta sang kwarta, pagkaon, ukon iban pa nga contributions para sa Municipal Athletic Meet gamit ang ngalan ukon logo sang Lamian NHS.

Ang concerned nga nagapalibot sang amo nga solicitation letter ginadirektahan nga UNTATON DAYON ang pagpanagtag kag paggamit sini, kag indi na magrepresentar nga ang amo nga solicitation gin-authorize sang eskwelahan.

Ang eskwelahan nagakilala kag nagabaton sang boluntaryo kag legitimate nga donations ukon suporta halin sa mga donors kag stakeholders, basta ini wala sang pagpamugos kag ginaprocess kag ginadokumento suno sa nagakaigo nga DepEd rules and regulations.

Para sa Municipal Athletic Meet, ang eskwelahan nakalaan na sang amount halin sa aton EFA funds para sa kinahanglanon nga expenses, lakip ang food kag transportation ,tshirt , sang aton mga athletes.

Gani, ginapangabay ang tanan nga indi maghatag sang kwarta ukon assistance sa bisan ano nga unauthorized solicitation nga nagagamit sang ngalan ukon logo sang Lamian NHS. Para sa mga donors ukon stakeholders nga luyag maghatag sang boluntaryo nga suporta, palihog ipaagi ini sa School Administration agod ma-coordinate kag ma-document sing husto.

It is with profound sadness that the Lamian National High School community mourns the passing of our former learner, Joshua.

Joshua was not only a valued member of our school family but also an active Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) responder, always ready to serve, help, and protect others. His dedication, courage, and selfless spirit reflected the true meaning of volunteerism and public service.

Gone too soon, Joshua had a bright future ahead of him. While his life was cut short, the legacy of his compassion and commitment to serving others will continue to inspire those who knew him.
