As we remember and honor the life of our beloved Rogelio G. Bernadas, Jr., fondly known as Rojs, we welcome family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones to join us in honoring the memory of a good man whose quiet strength, kindness, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone whose life he touched.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Unit Head, ROGELIO G. BERNADAS, JR., on September 4, 2026.

For those who had the privilege of working with him, Sir Rojs was more than a Unit Head. He was a leader who carried responsibility with quiet strength, a colleague who stood by his people, and a presence that became an important part of the everyday life of the Radiology Department. His leadership was reflected not only in the decisions he made and the work he accomplished, but in the people he guided, supported, and believed in.

The department would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our MCC, Dr. Bryan O. Dalid, for his all-out support, generosity, and unwavering assistance to Sir Rojs. Your kindness and presence, especially during his time of need, are deeply appreciated and regarded with sincere respect.

We are equally grateful to the DRMC Top Management, his attending physicians, nurses, nursing aides, Pharmacy, Billing, Social Service, the Radiology Family, and the entire DRMC family who, in their own ways, helped care for him and attend to his needs.

To everyone who gave their time, assistance, attention, and compassion, to those who checked on him, helped facilitate what was needed, provided care, and stood by him and his family during this difficult time, THANK YOU.

Your support went beyond professional responsibility. In a difficult and deeply personal chapter, you helped ensure that Sir Rojs was cared for with dignity, compassion, and respect. His family and the Radiology Department deeply appreciate the kindness and support you extended when it mattered most.
