Gipangulohan sa Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) XI Technical Working Group (TWG), uban sa Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), ang field validation aron ma-verify ang mga impormasyon nga gisumite ug masusi ang implementation, monitoring, outcomes, sustainability, ug uban pang may kalabutan nga aspeto sa proyekto.

Atol sa maong validation, gipresentar ug gipakita ang mga programa, inisyatiba, ug mekanismo nga naglangkob sa integrated education-to-employment ug livelihood ecosystem sa Davao del Norte. Ang kalihokan nahimong oportunidad aron maipakita ang mga pamaagi sa implementasyon, mga nahimo ug epekto sa proyekto, mga inobasyon, sustainability measures, ug kontribusyon niini sa lokal nga kalamboan.

🌱📸 | 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥-𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜-𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

On September 17–18, 2026, the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) conducted a two-day learning activity entitled “Exploring Gender-Responsive Agri-Tourism Destinations for Livelihood and Employment Opportunities.” The initiative aimed to provide PPESO personnel with practical, on-the-ground insights into how agri-tourism and eco-adventure destinations can serve as powerful engines for inclusive economic growth, workforce readiness, and community enterprise.

Through an enriching learning engagement with the Del Monte Foundation, Inc. (DMFI), participants gained firsthand knowledge on how agriculture, tourism, skills enhancement, and community development intersect to create sustainable, long-term economic opportunities. The team also conducted an experiential side trip to Dahilayan Adventure Park, where participants personally engaged in various adventure activities to observe operational models, safety management, and service delivery firsthand.

The visit to Bukidnon highlighted how high-value tourism destinations can be adapted locally to unlock sustainable employment and economic growth for the province. Notably, the park demonstrated exemplary gender equality in action, with both men and women actively taking on diverse operational, technical, and service roles—underscoring the importance of gender-responsive practices in tourism management.

To anchor the learning experience, the participants gathered in the evening for an intensive group reflection and discussion session. Team members synthesized key takeaways, shared individual insights, and conceptualized potential local interventions that can bridge community capabilities with emerging opportunities in agriculture, hospitality, and adventure tourism.

The insights gathered across the two-day engagement will directly inform PPESO’s continuing programs in labor market development, employment facilitation, and skills training. By strengthening linkages with private-sector partners, training institutions, and local community stakeholders, PPESO continues to equip its workforce to translate field learning into meaningful, inclusive livelihoods for all.
