Here's the honest answer: it happens. Bodies change, especially in the months leading up to a wedding. That's why we schedule our final fitting as close to the wedding day as possible — so any last adjustments can be made then.

We also build small allowances into the seams during construction, giving us room to let out or take in when needed. Planning ahead is everything — which is why we always recommend starting at least 3 to 6 months before your date.

Off-the-rack gowns are sized for an average body — not yours. That means even after alterations, the structure wasn't built for your proportions.
