Romans 12:17-21
17 Huwag ninyong gantihan ng masama ang mga gumagawa sa inyo ng masama. Gawin ninyo ang mabuti sa paningin ng lahat. 18 Hanggaʼt maaari, mamuhay kayo nang mapayapa sa lahat ng tao.
19 Mga minamahal, huwag kayong maghihiganti. Ipaubaya ninyo iyan sa Dios. Sapagkat sinabi ng Panginoon sa Kasulatan, “Ako ang maghihiganti; ako ang magpaparusa.
20 Kaya, “Kung nagugutom ang iyong kaaway, pakainin mo. Kung siyaʼy nauuhaw, painumin mo. Dahil kapag ginawa mo ang mga ito, mapapahiya siya sa kanyang sarili.
21 Huwag kayong patatalo sa masama kundi talunin ninyo ang masama sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng mabuti.
