The Local Government Unit of Tangalan, in partnership with the Tangalan Primary Care Facility and the Philippine Red Cross โ Aklan Chapter, invites everyone to take part in our upcoming Blood Donation Activity.

This community-based initiative aims to promote voluntary blood donation, help maintain an adequate and safe blood supply, and ultimately help save lives.

Individuals who meet the following general requirements may be eligible to donate:
โข 18โ65 years old
โข In good health and feeling well on the day of donation
โข At least 50 kg in weight
โข Passed the required screening and medical assessment

โข Any valid government-issued ID, such as PhilSys/National ID, PhilHealth ID, or Voterโs ID
โข Blood Donation Card for returning donors, if available

Donated blood is needed by patients who require transfusion due to accidents, surgeries, childbirth complications, anemia, and other medical conditions.

The Tangalan Primary Care Facility continues its commitment to bringing essential and life-saving health services closer to every family through the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026, conducted in ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ข๐จ๐ญ, ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง, ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ง
To ensure that more children could conveniently access vaccination services, the activity was carried out at two vaccination sites: ๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ.
This outreach effort reflects our continuing commitment to reach our communities, especially those who may face challenges in accessing health services.
We are deeply grateful to Mayor Gene Fuentes for taking the time to personally visit the activity and share a meaningful message of advocacy and support. His presence and continued encouragement remind our parents and caregivers of the importance of protecting our children through timely and complete immunization.
Our sincere appreciation also to Mrs. Grace B. Ureta, DOH DMO IV, for her presence, support, and continued partnership in strengthening our immunization efforts in the municipality.
We likewise extend our heartfelt thanks to the Barangay Council of Pudiot, our dedicated Tangalan Primary Care Facility Staff, and our hardworking Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for their cooperation and commitment in making this outreach activity possible.
Most importantly, we thank all the parents and caregivers who took the time to bring their children to the vaccination sites and entrusted us with their care. Your support and willingness to have your children vaccinated are vital in protecting not only your families, but the entire community.
Every vaccination is an act of protection. Every parent who chooses to vaccinate contributes to a safer and healthier community.

The Tangalan Primary Care Facility successfully conducted another round of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 in ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐ง๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ๐ด, ๐ง๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ธ๐น๐ฎ๐ป, bringing essential and life-saving vaccination services closer to eligible children and their families.
To ensure wider access to vaccination, the activity was conducted at three designated vaccination sites:

The successful implementation of the activity was made possible through the dedication and teamwork of the Tangalan Primary Care Facility Personnel, together with our valued community partners.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Council, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs), and St. Gabriel College Nursing Students for their assistance and active participation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the vaccination activity.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Vice Mayor Gary Fuentes for his continued support and commitment to strengthening health initiatives that safeguard the well-being of our children.
Our appreciation also goes to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Tangalan for providing valuable assistance and support during the activity.
Most importantly, we thank the parents and guardians of Barangay Tondog for their cooperation, trust, and commitment to protecting their children through vaccination. Your participation is essential in preventing the spread of measles and rubella and in building healthier communities.

The Tangalan Primary Care Facility successfully conducted Day 7 of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 with 3 vaccination sites in ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฒ๐๐ค๐๐ง- ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฒ๐๐ค๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐ง๐ , ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ง.

From the heart of our upland communities to every home, the Tangalan Primary Care Facility continues to bring the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) closer to every child.
Through our outreach efforts in the four upland Barangays of ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฝ๐ด๐ฎ, ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ด, ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐ฎ๐บ๐ผ๐ธ๐ผ๐ฒ, our healthcare team journeyed beyond distance and challenging terrain to ensure that every eligible child has access to this life-saving protection. No matter how far the community may be, every child deserves the opportunity to be vaccinated, protected, and given a healthier start in life.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), supportive Barangay Officials, and the St. Gabriel Nursing Students, together with their Clinical Instructor, Mrs. Lynn Paderes, Tangalan BFP and Tangalan MDRRMO for their valuable assistance, commitment, and continued support to our healthcare team throughout the activity.
