CHANGES IN TANZA WARD BISHOPRIC LEADERSHIP

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the members of the Tanza Ward for their continued faith and support as we welcome changes in our ward leadership, under the continued direction of Bishop Arnold Gonzales, who faithfully continues to serve as the Bishop of Tanza Ward.

We are grateful for Brother John Quinalayo Bonaobra, who has been honorably released as the First Counselor in the Bishopric to serve as a member of the Stake High Council. We thank him for his dedicated service, love, and commitment to the members of Tanza Ward.

We also express our deepest gratitude to President Ricardo Natulla Casora, who previously served as the Second Counselor in the Bishopric and has now been called to serve as the First Counselor of the Tanza Ward Bishopric.

We are especially grateful to welcome Brother Christian Edison Magno as the newly called Second Counselor in the Tanza Ward Bishopric. We are thankful for his willingness to accept this sacred calling and for his desire to serve the Lord and the members of Tanza Ward. We look forward to the love, faith, and Christlike service he will bring to the Bishopric and to the ward. We warmly welcome him and sustain him as he begins this new responsibility.

We extend our deepest gratitude to their families for their continued love, sacrifice, understanding, and support as they serve in their respective callings. We know that their service is made possible in many ways through the support of their families.

May the Lord bless these brethren and their families as they faithfully serve and minister to the members of Tanza Ward. We sustain them in their callings and look forward to supporting them as they serve the Lord and His children.

Brothers and Sisters,

We invite you to join us in our Naic Philippines 8th Annual Stake Conference as we gather together to worship the Savior, feel the Spirit, and receive inspired counsel from our Church leaders.

We are also blessed to welcome Elder Anthony John Balledos, Area Seventy, who will be with us during this special Stake Conference. Let us prayerfully prepare our hearts to receive the inspired messages and counsel that he and our other Church leaders will share. May we take this opportunity to strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ, feel the Spirit, and seek personal revelation for ourselves and our families.

May this be an opportunity for us to strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ, renew our commitment to the gospel, and draw closer to Heavenly Father.

📌 WARD REMINDER:
There will be NO SACRAMENT MEETING in our ward on Sunday, September 20. Instead, we will attend the Sunday General Session of Stake Conference at the Naic Stake Center.

️Did you know that the Tanza Branch, Punta Branch, and Carissa Branch which are now wards were originally just one branch?

Because of the growing number of members, the original Tanza Branch was eventually divided, and the Punta Branch was created from it. Later on, as the membership continued to grow, the Punta Branch was further divided, resulting in the creation of the Carissa Branch.

Tanza Branch, Punta Branch and Carissa Branch eventually became wards in 2018, when Naic District became a stake. And so, what was once one Tanza Branch eventually grew into three separate wards: Tanza Ward, Punta Ward, and Carissa Ward.
