𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit, under the 302CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, successfully conducted its 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 for the 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏 Training Program on 𝟐𝟕 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the TSU Lucinda Campus.

The Reserve Officers Training Corps, under the leadership of 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐈 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), Commandant, and with the supervision of 𝟑𝟎𝟐𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, successfully conducted the Fifth and Sixth Training Day.

The morning session began with the MS1 Basic Cadets performing 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, strengthening their discipline, coordination, alertness, and proper ex*****on of commands. This was followed by a classroom instruction focusing on 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, providing cadets with a deeper understanding of the different challenges that may affect the safety, stability, and security of the nation.

In the afternoon session, the cadets took their 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, assessing their knowledge and understanding of the lessons covered throughout the training and their readiness for the succeeding phases of the Military Science 1 program.

The 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 was further supported by the presence of the Graduate Military Assistants (GMAs): 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐉 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐂 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐂 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐨 𝐃 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬).

Through the day’s activities, the cadets continued to develop their discipline, knowledge, and military bearing, strengthening the foundation needed to become responsible and capable leaders in service.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit, under the 𝟑𝟎𝟐𝐂𝐃𝐂, 𝟑𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆, 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲, successfully conducted its 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 for the 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏 Training Program on 𝟐𝟎 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the 𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬.

The training was conducted under the supervision of 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐀𝐘 𝐃𝐔𝐄Ñ𝐀𝐒 (𝐐𝐌𝐒) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭, ensuring that the activities were carried out in accordance with the objectives and standards of the ROTC Training Program.

The training focused on strengthening the cadets’ foundation in military knowledge, discipline, and proper conduct. Throughout the session, MS1 basic cadets participated in military drills and activities designed to develop their alertness, teamwork, bearing, and ability to follow commands. Also present during the Third and Fourth training day was 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐃 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐲, 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫.

As part of the training, 𝐌𝐒𝐠 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐏 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 (𝐀𝐫𝐦) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐂𝐎, discussed the 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫. The discussion highlighted the importance of values such as duty, honor, integrity, and respect, which guide soldiers in carrying out their responsibilities and maintaining professionalism in every situation.

Meanwhile, 𝐏𝐯𝐭. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐑 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) provided a lecture on 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, introducing the cadets to the practices and traditions that have been passed down within the military. These customs help instill respect, discipline, camaraderie, and a strong sense of identity among military personnel.

The 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 (𝐂𝐎𝐐𝐂) examination and individual oral interviews were conducted by 𝐌𝐒𝐠 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐏 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 (𝐀𝐫𝐦) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐂𝐎, together with 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐉 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐃 𝐌𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲-𝐋𝐲𝐧 𝐆 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐆 𝐒𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐑 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐙𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), alongside the 𝟏𝐂𝐋 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬. The assessment aimed to evaluate the aspiring cadet officers’ knowledge, communication skills, leadership readiness, confidence, and overall potential as they prepare to take on greater responsibilities within the Corps.

Beyond physical training and classroom instruction, the activities gave the cadets an opportunity to apply the values and principles expected of future members of the Corps. Each exercise and discussion contributed to developing their confidence, discipline, and sense of responsibility as they continue their ROTC journey.

The Third and Fourth Training Day served as another step in building cadets who are not only physically prepared but also guided by strong values, proper conduct, and respect for military traditions.

The event brought together participants in a meaningful display of unity, solidarity, and patriotism, highlighting the spirit of modern bayanihan and the collective responsibility to stand for the nation and its maritime interests.

Adding pride to the occasion, 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀 𝐑. 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐙𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒) secured 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the Women’s 5KM Category, showcasing determination, endurance, and the spirit of service.
