RDF, with support from NCA under the CR-WASH & CES Project, conducted a district-level advocacy seminar in Umerkot on water conservation and reducing polythene bag use. Chaired by ADC-I Umerkot Mr. Javed Ahmed Dahri, the seminar brought together government departments, NGOs, civil society, youth, community forums, and Scouts to promote shared responsibility, eco-friendly practices, and practical action for sustainable communities.

RDF conducted a livestock vaccination campaign in Khipro, Sanghar, as part of the SHA Project, supported by Kindernothilfe (KNH). The activity promoted animal health, enhanced community awareness, and strengthened the resilience of rural households. In collaboration with the Livestock Department, animals were vaccinated against Enterotoxaemia (ETV) and Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (H.S.), strengthening linkages among communities, Self-Help Groups, and relevant stakeholders.

RDF, with the support of NCA, conducted a training session for duty bearers in Sanghar under the CR-WASH & CES Project on climate-adaptive practices. Facilitated by Mr. Sabir Hussain Mehr, the session focused on climate change, disaster preparedness, risk reduction, environmental protection, and locally suitable adaptation measures. Ms. Nadia Shah, Project Manager-RDF, emphasized strengthening community resilience through collaborative efforts. Participants included Additional Director Social Welfare Mr. Shafqat Hussain Solangi, SDO Irrigation, Livelihood and Health departments, NGOs, community representatives, and other stakeholders.

RDF, under the Skill Up Plus – TVET System Strengthening Project funded by Welthungerhilfe (WHH), conducted the Entry Test for the Electric Vehicle Technology course at Government College of Technology (GCT), Hyderabad.

The test attracted 140 applications from youth aspiring to build careers in the emerging EV sector. Mr. Arshad Ali Danwar, Deputy Executive Director-RDF, visited the test center and reviewed arrangements, while a Hi-Speed delegation also observed the process and explored future collaboration opportunities.

The initiative reflects RDF’s commitment to promoting green skills, market-oriented training, and sustainable employment opportunities for youth.
