For children whose education has been disrupted by floods, receiving a new set of books means being able to reconnect with their classrooms, rebuild their learning, and continue dreaming of a better future.

The distribution was carried out in collaboration with local partners and stakeholders, ensuring that these educational resources reach the children who need them most.

Community Services Program - CSP conducted engaging "Hygiene Awareness Sessions" among school children in Districts Bhimber and Neelum, AJ&K, helping young learners understand the importance of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and healthy daily practices.

👧👦 Through interactive awareness sessions, children were encouraged to adopt simple yet essential habits such as "regular handwashing, maintaining personal cleanliness, safe water practices, and keeping their surroundings clean".

💧🧴 These sessions aim to empower children with knowledge and practical habits that can help prevent illness, promote well-being, and create healthier school environments.

Community Services Program - CSP in collaboration with PennyAppeal, is supporting "Government Boys Primary School Bandian, District Kotli, AJ&K" through the provision of clean and safe drinking water for school children. 💙🏫

Access to safe drinking water is essential for a healthy and conducive learning environment. This initiative will help students stay hydrated, promote better hygiene practices, and contribute to their overall health and well-being. 🚰

Community Services Program - CSP observed "Youm-e-Shohda-e-Kashmir" at "Tine Girls Model School, honoring the sacrifices and steadfastness of those who lost their lives in the Kashmir struggle.

The school community came together to pay tribute through "special prayers, speeches, and awareness activities, highlighting the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and promoting values of peace, dignity, resilience, and hope among students.

Community Services Program - CSP has delivered 13,186 books to local partner organizations in the districts of Abbottabad, Haripur, and Kohistan to support school children affected by recent floods.

These books will be distributed among flood-affected students to help them continue their education, rebuild their learning, and return to school with renewed hope. 🎒📖

The initiative reflects CSP’s commitment to ensuring that disasters do not become a barrier to a child’s right to learn and dream. Every book placed in a child’s hands is a step toward restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity.

🏫 Expanding Access to Quality Education in Neelum Valley, AJK 📚

Community Services Program - CSP, in collaboration with PennyAppeal is constructing "Government Girls Primary School (GGPS) Nakka Bandi" in District Neelum, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, in response to a request from the "Government of AJK Education Department".

This initiative reflects CSP’s commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and creating safe, accessible, and child-friendly learning environments for girls in underserved communities.

Community Services Program - CSP in collaboration with PennyAppeal is pleased to announce the construction of a "Fast-Track Deep Well" in District Bhimber, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K).

🚰 This vital water initiative aims to improve access to safe, reliable, and sustainable drinking water for communities facing water scarcity. The deep well will help reduce the burden of collecting water from distant sources and contribute to improved health, hygiene, dignity, and overall well-being of local families.

🏥 Strengthening Healthcare in Remote Communities | Jagran, Neelum Valley, AJ&K

Community Services Program - CSP in collaboration with PennyAppeal, has established a Family Health Care Center in Village Jagran, District Neelum Valley, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, bringing essential healthcare services closer to families in this remote community. 🤝❤️

👩‍🍼 Supporting Women & Mothers:
The center is providing accessible healthcare and guidance to women, pregnant ladies, and mothers, with a special focus on maternal health, personal hygiene, and family well-being.

👶 Care for Children & Elderly:
Children and elderly community members can also access essential healthcare services within their own village, reducing the need to travel long distances for basic medical support.

👩‍⚕️ Community Midwife (CMW) Services
A trained Community Midwife (CMW) is providing regular consultations and organizing hygiene and awareness sessions for women on important topics including:

🔹 Antenatal and postnatal care
🔹 Personal & household hygiene
🔹 Newborn and child care
🔹 Disease prevention and healthy practices

💊 Essential Medicines & Health Supplies
The center has been equipped with essential healthcare items and medicines to support the community with timely and basic medical care.

Through this initiative, CSP and Penny Appeal are working together to improve access to healthcare, strengthen community awareness, and contribute to healthier and more resilient families in the mountainous communities of Neelum Valley.
