The Chairman National Technology Council Lt. Gen. Moazzam Ejaz HI(M) has urged all the Federal, Provincial, and Territorial Governments and Secretaries, Chairmen Provincial Public Service Commissions, All Heads of Public Departments and Enterprises on 21st August 2026, to comply with the FPSC HQ 's directions on updation of Recruitment Rules, Recognition of Engineering Technology Qualifications, and NTC Registration.
The Chairman NTC clearly said to them that Compliance is mandatory, non-compliance will be reported to FPSC and the relevant administrative authority.

The PETA highly appreciates such a long standing initiative taken by the Chairman NTC on a very serious note.

The FPSC HQ has taken a serious step towards the implementation of the due Service Structures of Engineering Technologists in Pakistan, by writing a letter to all Ministries, Divisions, and Departments on 24th July 2026 that they must revise or update their respective Recruitment Rules for all posts related to Engineering Technology Profession.
