آج ہمارے علامہ اقبال کالج بہاولپور (Allama Iqbal College Bahawalpur) میں تعلیمی سفر کے دوسرے ہفتے کے اختتام پر میں نے ایک خصوصی فیڈ بیک سیشن رکھا۔ ہر طالب علم کے ساتھ ون آن ون (One-on-One) گفتگو کی گئی اور ان کی طرف سے جو بھی نکات اور مسائل سامنے آئے، ہم سب نے مل کر ان کا بہترین حل (Solution) تلاش کیا۔
بدقسمتی سے ہمارا موجودہ تعلیمی نظام، بالخصوص یونیورسٹی لیول پر، "ون وے کمیونیکیشن" بن کر رہ گیا ہے۔ جہاں اگر کوئی طالب علم سوال کرنے کی ہمت کرے، تو اکثر جواب دینے کے بجائے وہی سوال اس کے لیے ایک نئی "اسائنمنٹ" بنا دیا جاتا ہے! اس رویے کو بدلنے اور نظام کو بہتر بنانے کی شدید ضرورت ہے۔
فیڈ بیک ایک ایسا بہترین ذریعہ ہے جس کے ذریعے ہم اپنی خامیوں کو دور کر سکتے ہیں اور سیکھنے کے اس سفر کو مزید مؤثر بنا سکتے ہیں۔ ایک بہترین استاد کا کام صرف لیکچر دینا نہیں، بلکہ اپنے طلباء کو سننا، سمجھنا اور ان کے ساتھ مل کر آگے بڑھنا ہے!

As we successfully wrap up the second week of our educational journey at Allama Iqbal College Bahawalpur, today’s session was reserved exclusively for student feedback. I conducted one-on-one sessions with the students, listened to their perspective, and together we mapped out practical solutions for all the key points raised.
Unfortunately, our traditional education system especially at the university level has become a rigid "one-way communication" channel. Sadly, if a student dares to ask a question, it is often turned into a mandatory "assignment" rather than a meaningful discussion. We urgently need to reform this approach.
Constructive feedback is a powerful single window tool that allows us to refine our methodologies and address precise areas of improvement. Teaching is far more than delivering lectures; it is about listening, understanding, and empowering students to learn together!
