Some journeys begin with uncertainty. Others become stories of hope.
In Episode 6 of Stories of BIH, Dr. Muhammad Rashid Shabeer, Head of Pediatrics & Neonatology at Buch International Hospital, shares the remarkable journey of twin babies born at 29 weeks and 4 days following a high-risk pregnancy complicated by severe preeclampsia.
Their journey through prematurity and its challenges required dedicated care, close monitoring, and the collective efforts of the neonatal team. After a critical stay of nearly a month, both babies were discharged safely and continued their journey of growth with their family.
A year later, their family returned with a beautiful gesture of appreciation, celebrating their first birthday and sharing a cake with the team that had been part of their journey.
Today, seeing both children reaching their developmental milestones is a moment of immense pride and gratitude for the entire team at Buch International Hospital.
Because some of the most meaningful stories we create are written in the lives of the little ones we care for.
