🚨 Amazon's new Seller Central interface is live for a growing number of accounts β€” and reactions in the seller community are... mixed, to put it kindly.

One seller summed it up:
"Just keep the old version and stop the mandatory new interface! It helps nobody but create more problems."

Here's what actually changed πŸ‘‡

βœ… "Manage All Inventory" is now "Manage Products"
βœ… A+ Content Manager moved β€” now nested deeper in the navigation
βœ… "Seller Assistant" replaces the old toggle system
βœ… Sellers report simple tasks now taking multiple extra clicks

Amazon's own team is actively collecting feedback through "Tell the Team" threads, asking sellers directly what's harder to find now. That tells you this rollout is still being shaped in real time.

If your workflows changed overnight and you're relearning your own dashboard mid-Q4 prep β€” that's exactly the kind of disruption Ecommerce Seller Forge helps sellers navigate.

🚨 Attention Walmart Sellers: 2-Step Verification is about to become mandatory β€” and Walmart is removing the option to turn it off.

If you haven't set it up yet, Walmart will do it FOR you automatically, with no way to disable it afterward.

Here's what you need to do right now πŸ‘‡

βœ… Only the account admin can set this up
βœ… SMS verification only works for US, Canada, Mexico & Chile β€” everyone else needs an authenticator app
βœ… Once set up, every team member logging in will need their own 2SV credentials
βœ… Never click the button inside the reminder email β€” log into Seller Center directly instead

This comes right after Walmart updated its Seller Code of Conduct (Aug 18) to crack down on account switching and unauthorized access. More security changes like this are likely coming.

Don't let a missed email turn into a login lockout during your busiest sales week.

Follow Ecommerce Seller Forge for weekly updates that actually matter to your account. πŸ› οΈ

🚨 3 Amazon Seller Central updates just dropped (Aug 29–31, 2026) β€” and most sellers won't catch these until it's too late.

If you're selling on Amazon, here's what changed this week and what it actually means for your account:

1️⃣ New "Total Product Quantity" variation theme
Amazon launched a standardized way to show pack/unit quantity across 193 product types (mostly hardlines for now). Listings will show "X count" or "X count (Y packs of Z)" so customers can compare multi-packs at a glance.
β†’ Optional for now, but if your category is in scope, early adopters usually win the comparison shopping battle before it becomes mandatory.

2️⃣ Account Health enforcement just got smarter (and scarier)
Starting Aug 31, Amazon no longer nukes your entire account for one bad-performing FBM offer β€” it deactivates just that offer instead.
Sounds like relief, right? It's actually a warning: enforcement is now more targeted and more frequent, hitting individual listings on Cancellation Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Order Defect Rate, and On-Time Delivery Rate. You'll get a warning email first β€” if you're not watching for it, you'll lose sales on that ASIN before you even know why.
β†’ Translation: sloppy fulfillment metrics on ONE listing can no longer hide behind a healthy overall account. Every SKU now has to pull its own weight.

3️⃣ Amazon Business Deals now open to sellers (US, CA, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, MX, AU)
You can now run exclusive B2B discounts (1 hour–30 days, fixed price or % off) targeting 11M+ registered business buyers. Minimum 10% off standard, 15% for High Velocity Events (Prime Big Deal Days, BFCM). Requires 3.5+ star rating and existing Business Pricing.
β†’ This is a real, underused growth lever β€” most sellers aren't even aware B2B deals exist as a separate traffic channel.

The pattern here? Amazon is moving toward more granular control β€” at the listing level, not just the account level. Sellers who react manually, monthly, or "when something breaks" are going to keep losing margin to sellers who have someone monitoring this stuff daily.

That's exactly the gap I fill as an Amazon Growth Partner & Operator β€” catalog optimization, account health monitoring, and demand-gen levers like B2B deals, managed proactively so you're never the last to know.

πŸ“© If you're a seller who wants someone watching this so you don't have to β€” let's talk.

CASE STUDY: How We Recovered a Suspended Walmart Marketplace Account

Do not take Walmart Marketplace compliance lightly.

This was a recent case involving one of our newer Walmart sellers.

The seller was new to Walmart Marketplace and had limited experience with the level of attention required for compliance, verification, and seller performance.

Then the account was suspended.

At that point, the goal was not simply to send an appeal saying:

β€œWe understand the issue.”
β€œWe will be careful next time.”
β€œPlease restore our account.”

That is not how serious account recovery should be handled.

The Case: Account Recovery + Verification

We treated the suspension as a complete account recovery and verification process.

Our work focused on:

β€’ Identifying the actual root cause
β€’ Correcting the issue
β€’ Preparing clear preventive actions
β€’ Creating a plan to prevent recurrence
β€’ Providing strong supporting evidence for verification

Depending on the case, strong evidence can include:

β€’ Manufacturer or supplier invoices
β€’ Valid tracking information
β€’ Shipping and fulfillment records
β€’ Operational documents
β€’ Additional documents requested by Walmart

For this case, we provided all required documentation, along with additional supporting evidence to strengthen Walmart's verification and trust in the account.

The Result?

After careful review, Walmart confirmed that the account was in good standing and would be reinstated.

That was the result of this case study.

But for me, account restoration was not the finish line.

It was the start of the next phase.

Phase Two: Keeping the Account Healthy

Walmart has built customer trust over decades through its retail business.

That reputation matters.

As a Marketplace seller, your operational performance directly affects the customer experience.

That is why I monitor seller performance continuously.

Key Walmart performance standards include:

β€’ On-time delivery: 90% or above
β€’ Cancellations: 2% or below
β€’ Valid tracking: 99% or above
β€’ Seller response: 95% or above
β€’ Negative feedback: 2% or below
β€’ Returns: Within the applicable category thresholds
β€’ Item not received: 2% or below
β€’ Late shipment: 5% or below

I also monitor:

β€’ Simplified Shipping Settings performance
β€’ On-time shipment
β€’ Carrier method accuracy
β€’ Ship-from location accuracy
β€’ Carrier performance
β€’ Regional performance
β€’ Ratings and reviews

These are not just numbers.

They are early warning signals.

Poor delivery performance can point to carrier or handling problems.

Low valid tracking can create verification concerns.

Late shipments can damage account health.

A high Item Not Received rate can become a serious customer-trust issue.

The mistake is waiting until a metric becomes urgent.

I prefer fixing the operational cause before it becomes an account problem.

The Final Outcome of This Case

Suspended account β†’ Root cause analysis β†’ Corrective actions β†’ Preventive plan β†’ Strong evidence β†’ Walmart review β†’ Account restored.

And now the focus is:

A healthy account.
Strong seller performance.
Compliance under control.
Sustainable growth.

Most sellers manage Walmart when everything is going well.

I manage the operation when things go wrong β€” and build the system to prevent the same problem from happening again.

That is the difference between managing listings and managing the entire Walmart Marketplace operation.

I just compared Walmart and Amazon delivery speeds from the same customer location.

The difference was interesting.

On Walmart, I found products showing:

⚑ Delivery as soon as 13 minutes.

Yes. 13 minutes.

I then checked several products on Amazon.

Even some products sold and shipped by Amazon were showing delivery windows of several hours in this live check.

This does not mean Walmart is always faster than Amazon.

Delivery speeds vary by product, inventory location, and customer location.

But in this specific comparison, Walmart was clearly offering the faster delivery promise.

And for marketplace sellers, that matters.

Having worked inside both Amazon and Walmart seller accounts for years, managing:

β€’ Amazon FBA & FBM
β€’ Walmart WFS & Seller Fulfilled

I've seen how fulfillment can directly affect the customer experience.

The customer doesn't think:

β€œIs this FBA or FBM?”

β€œIs this WFS or Seller Fulfilled?”

They think:

How fast can I get it?

That's why fulfillment is no longer just an operational task.

It can influence:

βœ”οΈ Purchase decisions
βœ”οΈ Customer confidence
βœ”οΈ Conversion
βœ”οΈ Inventory strategy
βœ”οΈ Overall marketplace growth

The real question for sellers is not simply:

Which fulfillment program should I use?

The better question is:

Which fulfillment strategy gives my customers the best balance of speed, availability, and profitability?

Most sellers see fulfillment as a cost after the sale.

I look at how fulfillment impacts the sale before the customer even clicks β€œBuy.”

That's the difference between managing orders and managing marketplace growth.

Which marketplace is giving customers the faster delivery experience in your area right now β€” Walmart or Amazon?

πŸ“ˆ $3K+ in Walmart sales with just $63.18 in ad spend.

A recent Walmart Marketplace account generated:

β€’ $3,043.30 GMV
β€’ 193 units sold
β€’ 180 orders
β€’ $63.18 ad spend
β€’ 100% on-time delivery
β€’ 100% valid tracking
β€’ 0% cancellations
β€’ 0% negative feedback

The takeaway?

Walmart growth isn't simply about spending more on ads.

Ads need to work together with your listing, pricing, conversion, inventory, fulfillment, and customer experience.

At Ecommerce Seller Forge, we focus on the complete marketplace operationβ€”not just PPC.

If you're a Walmart seller struggling with sales, efficiency, or scaling, the answer may not be a bigger ad budget.

It may be a better strategy.

Walmart Seller-Fulfilled Account: Keeping Account Health Under Control

Managing a Walmart Marketplace account through Seller Fulfilled is a different challenge from using WFS.

With WFS, Walmart handles much of the fulfillment process. With Seller Fulfilled, the seller has to stay on top of shipping, tracking, cancellations, delivery performance, and customer experience.

This account is Seller Fulfilled β€” not WFS.

And despite that, the account is maintaining:

β†’ 100% on-time delivery
β†’ 0% cancellations
β†’ 100% valid tracking
β†’ 0% item-not-received rate
β†’ 0% negative feedback
β†’ $2.7K+ GMV in the period shown
β†’ 169 units sold / 160 orders

The difficult part isn't simply getting orders.

It's keeping the account healthy while continuing to grow.

That's where consistent Walmart account management, fulfillment monitoring, and performance optimization make a difference.

If you're selling on Walmart Marketplace and managing fulfillment yourself, account health should be treated as a growth metric β€” not just a compliance metric.

Already selling on Amazon?

Walmart Marketplace could be your next growth channel.

Many established Amazon sellers are expanding to Walmart, but successful expansion requires more than simply adding products to Walmart.com.

From catalog setup and listing optimization to WFS, inventory, Walmart Connect Ads, fulfillment, and ongoing account management β€” every part of the marketplace needs to work together.

Here is a real Walmart Seller Center snapshot showing:

$1,786.36 GMV
110 units sold
108 orders
$16.24 average unit retail

At Ecommerce Seller Forge, we help Amazon sellers and eCommerce brands expand to Walmart and build the channel properly.

Whether you're:

β†’ Not on Walmart yet
β†’ Planning your Amazon β†’ Walmart expansion
β†’ Already selling on Walmart but struggling to grow

We can help you evaluate the opportunity and manage the marketplace operations.

Send us a message if Walmart is the next marketplace you're considering.

Your Amazon business isn't struggling because of ACoS.

It's struggling because cash is disappearing faster than profit is growing.

That's the conversation I keep having with Amazon brands this year.

Revenue is growing.

ROAS looks healthy.

Orders are increasing.

Yet founders keep asking the same question:

"Why does it feel like we have less cash than ever?"

Because Amazon has changed the game.

Today, your cash gets squeezed from multiple directions:
β€’ Higher advertising costs.
β€’ Inventory tied up longer.
β€’ Delayed access to payouts.
β€’ More operational fees.
β€’ More capital required just to maintain growth.

Many brands respond the same way.
They cut PPC.
Pause expensive keywords.
Reduce Top of Search bids.
Celebrate a lower ACoS.
Three months later...
Sales flatten.
Organic rankings slip.
Competitors take market share.
The business becomes "more efficient" while becoming less valuable.
That's because they're optimizing reports, not cash flow.
The brands outperforming everyone else aren't asking:

"How do we lower ACoS?"

They're asking:

- What's our contribution margin after every Amazon cost?
- How much working capital do we need for the next inventory cycle?
- Which keywords are protecting market shareβ€”not just generating ROAS?
- How do we scale without creating a cash-flow bottleneck?

Amazon has become a working-capital business as much as an advertising business. Sellers are increasingly describing margin pressure, payout timing, and ad funding as bigger constraints than traffic itself.

The winners over the next few years won't necessarily have better products.

They'll have better financial systems.

Because on Amazon...

Running out of cash is far more dangerous than running a high ACoS.

What's putting the most pressure on your business today?

- Cash flow?
- Advertising costs?
- Inventory?
- Amazon fees?
- Something else?

Virtual Multipacks: AOV Boost or Margin Risk? πŸ€”

Amazon Virtual Multipacks can skyrocket your AOV, but it's NOT "set it and forget it." 🚨 Many sellers overlook the operational risks!

At eCommerce QMI, we master Virtual Multipack Strategy for PROFITABLE growth:

βœ… Unit Economics: We ensure multipacks improve profit, not just revenue. Fees, FBA, ads – all scrutinized.
βœ… Smart Pricing: Value for customers, protected margins for you. No more guessing!
βœ… Inventory Guard: We adjust forecasting to prevent stockouts from multi-pack surges.
βœ… PPC Power: Treat multipacks as separate ad opportunities. Keywords unprofitable for single units might thrive here!
βœ… Strategic Fit: Not every product needs a multipack. We identify high-consumption items that benefit most.
βœ… Quality Control: Automation doesn't replace verification of images, titles, pricing.
βœ… Weekly Monitoring: Sales mix, profit, inventory, Buy Box, feedback – we track it all for profitable revenue.

Virtual Multipack is an operational tool. We manage it actively to ensure you gain, not just reduce margins!
