Our team has set up the SDSS Lab stall at the BUITEMS 8th Job Fair, engaging with students, fresh graduates, and professionals interested in GIS, remote sensing, data analytics, and environmental technology.

SDSS at ICAST 2025 🇵🇰
SDSS proudly marked its presence at the International Conference on Applications of Space Science and Technology (ICAST) 2025 held in Islamabad.
Representing SDSSL, our researcher presented a paper titled “Deforestation in Pakistan and Combatting It Through Wireless Sensor Networks,” highlighting innovative, technology-driven solutions for environmental sustainability.
We are also honored that Dr. Shafi Ullah, Principal Investigator, SDSSL National Center of GIS & Space Applications, served as the Conference Chair and Keynote Speaker, reflecting SDSS’s leadership in space science, GIS, and applied research.

Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS) Laboratory, Official, Organized a two day workshop "Hands-On Practical Training Workshop in QGIS" on 18 & 19 for its interns, and students to strengthen their foundational skills in GIS. With valuable guidance from Andreas de Jong, participants learned QGIS setup, essential tools, and basic map creation. A productive training session contributing to the technical growth of our young interns.
