The project called "!Active Citizens in European Cities (U!ACTIV)", project no. 613451-EPP-1-2019-1-PL-SPO-SSCP, is co-financed by the Erasmus + Programe and it is based on the cooperation of the Gdańsk Sports Center (project leader) with the following institutions:
• Sport Academy „Young Lions Gdańsk”
• Association Sport for All Vojvodina (Serbia – Novi Sad)
• Associacio Esportiva Ciutat Vella (Spain - Barcelona)
• Association for the Development of Youth Sport (Portugal – Lisbon)
The value of the project is EUR 56 630, and the implementation period is 01.2020-06.2022. Since January 2020, the Gdańsk Sports Center with international partners has been working on creating a platform that will collect information about sports activities and activities available to residents. In addition to the platform, the project includes study visits that familiarize partners with how the system for collecting information about the sports offer and reaching residents with this information is operating in other European cities. Moreover, the result of the project, including study visits, will be a library of good practices in the field of physical activity offer for residents of large European cities. The added value of the project is increasing the potential of partner institutions in the field of international cooperation. Projekt pod nazwą „!Active Citizens in European Cities (U!ACTIV)”, nr projektu 613451-EPP-1-2019-1-PL-SPO-SSCP, współfinansowany jest ze środków Programu Erasmus+, a oparty jest na współpracy Gdańskiego Ośrodka Sportu (lidera projektu) z poniższymi instytucjami:
• Akademia Sportu „Młode Lwy Gdańsk”
• Association Sport for All Vojvodina (Serbia – Novi Sad)
• Associacio Esportiva Ciutat Vella (Hiszpania - Barcelona)
• Association for the Development of Youth Sport (Portugalia – Lizbona)
Wartość projektu to niemal 56 630 euro, a okres realizacji to 01.2020-06.2022. Gdański Ośrodek Sportu z międzynarodowymi partnerami od stycznia 2020 pracuje nad stworzeniem platformy, która będzie gromadzić informacje o aktywnościach i zajęciach sportowych dostępnych dla mieszkańców. Poza platformą, w ramach projektu odbywają się wizyty studyjne, które przybliżają partnerom, jak system zbierania informacji o ofercie sportowej i docierania z tą informacją do mieszkańców, funkcjonuje w innych miastach europejskich. Ponadto, rezultatem projektu, w tym wizyt studyjnych będzie biblioteka dobrych praktyk w zakresie oferty aktywności fizycznej dla mieszkańców dużych europejskich miast. Wartością dodaną projektu jest zwiększenie potencjału instytucji partnerskich w zakresie współpracy międzynarodowej.

We have met for the last time in the project. The 5th transnational project meeting was organised in Gdańsk by Young Lions Sports Academy on 30th and 31st of May 2022.
We summed up the project and its results - the library of good practice and web platform gathering sports offer in cities.
Partners had an opportunity to exchange experience with Bartosz Krawczyński - the director in Pomeranian Sports Federation and Cezary Dobrzelecki - football coach, representative of Jaguar Kids Academy Gdańsk and Dream Team of Jaguar for children with disabilities.
We also had study visit on our sailing yacht "General Zaruski", in ERGO Arena sport and entertainment hall and Hala Olivia sports hall - first in Pomeranian region indoor hall with ice rink.

4th transnational project meeting was held in Barcelona on 28 February - 1st March 2022. Gdańsk Sports Centre presented the sports browser . We were talking about sports offer for citizens in Barcelona and exchanging experiences with representatives ofBarcelona Municipality, District Ciutat Vella and Catalan physical activity organiser. During the 2nd day we had the possibility to visit olympic facilities of Barcelona 1992 and Barcelona Institute of Sports.

Niedawno odwiedziliśmy również Serbię na zaproszenie Stowarzyszenia Sport w All Vojvodina. Tutaj również rozmawialiśmy o projekcie wyszukiwarki oraz doświadczeniach w organizacji aktywności sportowych dla mieszkańców.
Istotnym elementem każdego ze spotkań międzynarodowych jest wizyta studyjna, podczas której Serbowie zaprezentowali pozostałym partnerom multifunkcyjny obiekt sportowym o nazwie SPENS, znajdujący się w Nowym Sadzie. Część sportowa to hala sportowo-widowiskowa, będąca areną wielu rozgrywek na poziomie mistrzostw Europy, mniejsza hala sportowa, kryte lodowisko, basen olimpijski kryty oraz otwarty, hala do bowlingu oraz inne hale sportowe służące do trenowania przyszłych serbskich mistrzów tenisa stołowego, boksu, judo i zapasów.

Podczas niedawnego spotkania partnerów projektu „Active Citizens in European Cities” w Lizbonie omawialiśmy założenia wyszukiwarki aktywności fizycznej oraz kształt podręcznika dobrych praktyk w zakresie oferty sportowej dla mieszkańców. Wszystko po to, by osoby aktywne w jak najprostszy sposób mogły znaleźć najciekawsze zajęcia oraz wydarzenia sportowe, np. Aktywuj się w Gdańsku
Organizatorem spotkania było stowarzyszenie Association w the Development of Youth Sports (ADDJ). Uczestnicy, w tym delegacja Gdański Ośrodek Sportu, zwiedzili również obiekty sportowe dostępne w Lizbonie, w tym najstarszy stadion w Portugalii.
