A first glimpse of Forest Palace in Architectural Digest Polska.

The Throne chair, inspired by a 1920s Danish engraving, will make its debut at PAD London with Mia Karlova Galerie, where solid oak and chromed brass turn an archival trace into something entirely new.

It began with a sculptural form, shaped slowly by hand.
Then came hundreds of fragments of mother-of-pearl, each one placed individually to follow its curves.

A meticulous process that transformed a monumental object into something luminous, changing with every movement, every touch, every shift of light.

I am deeply honoured to begin a new chapter with Mia Karlova Galerie.

Based in Amsterdam, the gallery brings together collectible design, contemporary art and functional sculpture, practices that move freely between disciplines, much like my own.

Our collaboration begins at PAD London 2026, where the gallery will present a curated selection of my work for the first time, including the debut of the Sea Foam Credenza.

To see these pieces enter a new context and a dialogue with artists whose work I deeply admire, feels both humbling and quietly momentous.

I am drawn to the space between softness and strength.

My work often begins with intuition… a texture, a gesture, a fleeting image that stays with me. Then comes time, discipline and the slow process of giving that feeling a physical form.

Perhaps that is what I look for in every object I create: something delicate enough to move us, yet strong enough to remain.

The Swan Armchair is dressed rather than upholstered.

Layers of shimmering plissé fabric flow across its sculptural back, shaped by hand and finished with delicate beads. The folds catch the light like feathers in motion, soft, luminous and quietly theatrical.

The Nest Lamp feels as though it has grown rather than been designed.

Layers of washi paper gather around a delicate structure of braided wire, shaping the light into something warm, organic and almost alive. Suspended between sculpture and function, it brings a fragment of the forest indoors.
