Cozying up in my sunroom with coffee on a cold winter morning just got better! A collector recently shared a photo of my artwork, “Boy and Girl,” from the collection “Uncover the Truth,” proudly displayed in their beautiful home.
This collection explores the essence of humanity, reminding us that we are all born equal.

Back to Life emerged after a flood destroyed much of my studio and many of my paintings.
Using the remaining fragments, I began reconstructing new works through collage. This piece belongs to my Montage Series — a process of turning loss into renewal and giving broken pieces a second life.

In a world where tradition often trumps desire, two young souls dared to fall in love. But their happiness was short-lived, as the weight of arranged marriage expectations threatened to tear them apart.
She took a leap of faith, following her heart to be with him. But his family’s refusal to accept their love left her shattered. The wounds of rejection ran too deep, and she vowed never to love again.
Yet, from the ashes of heartbreak, a phoenix rose. She channeled her pain into passion, pouring her energy into a thriving career. Today, she stands as a testament to resilience — a successful, independent woman who has rewritten her own destiny.
Forbidden Love found its forever home with a kindred spirit, a woman who felt an inexplicable connection to its emotional resonance. As she gazed upon the canvas, she saw her own story reflected back — a tale of love, loss, and liberation.
The painting had spoken directly to her soul, validating her own experiences and emotions. It was as if the artwork had been waiting for her, its message meant solely for her heart.
Now, the painting resides with its new owner, serving as a reminder of her journey.

It took Scott Kahn more than 50 years to become an overnight success.
A decade ago, the painter was living in his cousin’s attic, struggling to make ends meet. Now 80, Kahn walks CULTURED through “Silent Night,” his second solo exhibition with David Zwirner – Art Gallery. Across three rooms, the show traces a life in paint, moving through memories, relationships, and Kahn’s recurring fascination with light, time, and the natural world.

Gagosian is presenting six major new, large-scale paintings by Albert Oehlen in the 2026 edition of Frieze London, which opens on October 14. This video captures one of these works being framed ahead of the fair.
In these paintings, the artist continues to explore the still-rich possibilities of a long-established medium and format, riffing on varied fragments, forms, and motifs. Throughout his oeuvre, Oehlen reimagines diverse sources in ways that render “subject matter” less significant than the act of transforming images into new states. Combining graphic brushstrokes and painterly drips with unexpected chromatic and textural juxtapositions, he tests the limits of coherence.

“Helen Frankenthaler: The Moment and the Distance”—an exhibition organized in collaboration with the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation—is on view at Gagosian, West 21st Street, New York, through July 2.
The exhibition surveys four decades of paintings from 1960 to 1992 and features more than twenty of the artist’s largest, most ambitious works. Arranged by decade, these canvases—with their monumental scale, sensuous color, and innovative compositions—offer new perspectives on the artist’s continual reinvention of her practice.
