“Lord Are You Listening” is one of the most personal songs I wrote for my album.

I wanted to release it on its own because it felt too fragile to just sit inside a tracklist.

It’s the hardest song for me on the album.

I wrote this from the part of me that still feels like a little girl looking up at Heaven, wondering why God would place something in her life that taught her how to breathe again, only to take it away.

I didn’t understand it then. Some days, I still don’t.

This song is for anyone who has ever loved something with their whole heart, lost it, and still reached for God while trying not to fall apart.
