Making myself a top for a Damian Popielarski gig.
I'm using letters cut out of old t-shirts and hoodies to create the scrapbook/ ransom note vibe.
And yes, selecting a quote about staying silent to wear to a concert is intentional.

Hard at work!
As I've scaled down the workshop, I can finally finish a lot of suspended projects.
This is one of them: a scene plaid skirt with multicoloured panels, handmade from jeans and painted by hand.
This is a freestyle design that I'm planning to improve on.

Finally done!
This is my favourite collage piece so far. It helped me through a very rough time as I'm recovering from a lot of personal issues.
Twin Peaks is probably the most profound TV show I've ever seen.
It impacted my personality so deeply I've become an artist after researching David Lynch.
The music of Twin Peaks is incredible and it opened my brain to sounds other than rock and roll, punk and metal.
There is so much in this picture I can barely describe what I feel. I guess this constitutes decent art.

This week is tough.
Saying goodbye to my dreams feels like a punch to the gut.
Today is the last day of the Upcycled Underground workshop.
As the business changed so much and it's not what it was at the beginning, I am seriously considering changing its name.
