I just learned that Rich Relationships won a 2026 Next Generation Indie Book Award in the Business/Entrepreneurship category. 🏆

The funny thing is, I didn’t learn it from an email or a phone call. I learned it when my writing collaborator, Alexandra Franzen, reached out to congratulate me.

Apparently, Rich Relationships: Create a Million-Dollar Network for Your Business had been named a winner—and I had no idea.

Writing this book is my most meaningful life’s work. It gave me the opportunity to share the relationship-building principles that have shaped my life, business, and so many opportunities along the way.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has read the book, shared it with a friend, recommended it to a client, purchased copies for their team, or taken the time to leave a review.

Big news: I’m leaving Dubai. ✈️

Over the past six months, I’ve been living in one of the most impressive and beautiful cities I’ve ever experienced. Dubai is ambitious, optimistic, and forward-thinking. I have so much respect for what they’re building there, and I’m incredibly grateful for my time in the UAE.

But sometimes you can love something deeply and still know in your heart that it’s not right for you.

While Dubai offered so much of what I was looking for, it also placed me on the other side of the world from my closest friends, clients, and loved ones.

So for this next chapter, I’ll be living between Austin and Puerto Rico. 💛

What’s most interesting is the lesson this experience taught me. I traveled halfway around the world to realize that what I was looking for was much closer than I thought. When we’re searching for answers, we often assume the solution is a dramatic change.

But sometimes it’s a small adjustment that brings you closer to the people, places, and life you already love. If there’s an area of your life where you’re stuck in overthinking or waiting for certainty, perhaps this is your reminder: Sometimes the only way to find the answer is to try something.

And when you take the leap, you may not find exactly what you expected.

You may find something even more valuable: The clarity that comes from knowing instead of wondering. 💛
