Material Advantage - UPRM Chapter

Material Advantage es una asociación que provee a estudiantes con interés en la Ciencia e Ingeniería de Materiales información y recursos para desarrollarse profesionalmente dentro de éste campo en crecimiento y demanda en la Industria. MSE is a field of increasing expansion with numerous job opportunities in the world. Our Chapter was founded in 2004 and it requires a membership to the national organization, i.e. Material Advantage, which provides instantaneous membership to four professional societies:

• ACerS - The American Ceramic Society
• AIST - Association for Iron & Steel Technology
• ASM International - The Materials Information Society
• TMS - The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society

All these societies provide magazines, access to scientific and professional conferences, seminars and courses, as well as competitive scholarships. Our Chapter is a successful one that was recognized three times as Chapter of Excellence by the international organization.
