UPRM Army ROTC - Bulldog Battalion

This past weekend, the Bulldog Battalion conducted another successful and action-packed BN Lab focused on developing our cadets’ skills, leadership, and readiness.

🧭 MS3s put their land navigation skills to the test, strengthening their ability to navigate and make sound decisions in a field environment.

🪖 MS2s conducted EST and rappel tower training, building confidence, technical skills, and proficiency as they continue their development as future Army leaders.

🏆 In addition, several cadets and cadre were recognized for their outstanding dedication and accomplishments, including recent contractees, members of the Ranger Team, and individuals who demonstrated exceptional hard work and excellence during and leading up to BN Lab.

We were also honored to welcome the USACC Command Sergeant Major, CSM Darrell E. Walls, who took the time to speak with our cadets, share valuable insight, and provide guidance on their future careers and opportunities in the United States Army.

Every training event is another opportunity to learn, lead, and grow. Keep pushing, Bulldogs! 🐾🇺🇸

On March 7, a Battalion Lab focused on Warrior Skills was conducted to prepare MS3 cadets for CST. MS3s sharpened critical skills through hands-on practice, teamwork, and disciplined ex*****on in preparation for success at CST.

This past weekend, the MS3s were put to the test—completing Call for Fire evaluations, a land navigation written exam, practical land navigation, and a 12-mile ruck. Each challenge was designed to sharpen their skills, build endurance, and strengthen their knowledge as they prepare for the upcoming FTX at Camp Blanding. Stepping up, pushing limits, and developing as future leaders.

Last Thursday, our Ranger Challenge cadets and fellow MS3s took on the C.I. Ranger 17 Miller Ruck, showing true resilience, strength, and grit. Through every mile, they pushed past limits, stayed focused, and persevered as a team—proving that determination and discipline define our battalion. Proud of the heart and commitment you all brought to the ruck! 💪🇺🇸

This past weekend at JFTX with Taino Battalion, our cadets gave it their all—sharpening their land navigation skills and pushing through STX lanes as they prepare for 6th Brigade FTX at Camp Blanding. The grind never stops. 💪🇺🇸
