How did life originate on Earth? Is it possible to find life outside our planet? Could it be, that one day, we are able to colonize another planet? How would life be in this colony? These questions may sound like those you hear in sci-fi movies, but they are actually fairly common in the scientific community. In fact, there are scientific disciplines focused on applying scientific knowledge and research to answer these questions.
