Sulala Animal Rescue

While we were at the shelter, we found this cat inside a cardboard box at the entrance, suffering from a severe eye infection. We provided the necessary treatment, and she is now under our care. We will continue to monitor her condition. ❤️🐾

Four cats were rescued from Deir al-Balah. The cats were suffering from internal worms, eye infections, ear mites, and one cat had dental and gum infections. All were given appropriate treatment.

​Today at our medical point, we received 21 cats, 9 dogs, 3 chickens, and 1 rabbit.
​Cat cases varied between herpesvirus, gastroenteritis, parasites, and eye infections, along with dehydration, loss of appetite, dental issues, and one case with an abscess and a**l inflammation.
​As for the dogs, most suffered from parasites and worms, alongside one parvovirus case with severe vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and weakness. The chickens had Newcastle disease and joint inflammation, while the rabbit had minor wounds from a weasel bite.
​Most of the newly rescued animals were suffering from herpesvirus, fungal infections, and parasites, along with general weakness and loss of appetite. We provided treatment for all cases and are continuing their follow-up care.

A resident brought us this puppy after caring for him for some time.
​The puppy is suffering from skin parasites. We examined him and provided the necessary treatment, and he is now under our care and follow-up.

Update on Rita ❤️🐾

After Rita’s surgery to have a plate placed, we’ve visited her twice to monitor her recovery. She has a very strong bond with her family and is full of energy.

She managed to remove one of her stitches, so we made a protective collar to keep her from reaching the wound. Since the original collar is unavailable in the market, we used a simple alternative.

We’re checking on Rita every day and staying by her side throughout her recovery. ❤️

Recently, someone found her trying from a severe eye infection and could barely see.
We took her to our medical point, and she is now under our care. ❤️🐾
She may have lost her sight, but she hasn’t lost hope.

A citizen contacted us after finding this cat alone in the street. We asked him to bring her to our medical point so she could receive the care she needed. 🐾❤️
She was suffering from an eye infection, and the necessary treatment was provided.
We will continue to care for them and give every animal the chance it deserves. ❤️🐾

​Today at our medical point, we received 25 cats, 10 dogs, and 1 rooster.
​Cat cases varied between calicivirus, gastroenteritis, parasites, eye infections, and anemia, alongside cases with hair loss, dehydration, and dental or gum issues.
​As for the dogs, most suffered from parasites and worms, plus one parvovirus case with severe vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and weakness. The rooster had deep foot pad wounds with a bacterial infection.
​Most of the newly rescued animals are generally in good health, aside from a few eye infections. We provided treatment for all cases and are following up on them.
