Dear Friend,
My campaign has been removed twice from GoFundMe, which feels like yet another challenge amidst the ongoing struggles faced by the people of Gaza. These actions are not just technical obstacles, but part of a larger effort to silence and suppress humanitarian aid for a population in desperate need.

After nearly two weeks of the ground assault on Deir al-Balah, and my displacement from there, the mural I painted remains standing, resilient against all odds. We may be forced to leave, but the traces of our existence, like the steadfast olive trees, remain rooted in the land.
This mural, a symbol of hope and resistance, stands tall in the midst of destruction, a reminder that even in the darkest times, beauty and resilience can endure. It reflects the strength of our spirit and the deep connection we have to our homeland, a bond that no force can sever.
Even when we are physically absent. We may be displaced, but our stories, our art, and our spirit remain in the heart of Gaza.
Through this mural, I hope to convey that while we may be forced to flee, our legacy lives on, unwavering and proud. Our art, like the olive trees, will continue to stand as a testament to our endurance and our unbreakable connection to the land.

The displacement process is still ongoing. We were displaced from Deir al-Balah to al-Maghazi, and then al-Maghazi to the unknown.
