To celebrate the European Day of Languages, we’re bringing a little of the linguistic diversity that is part of our everyday school life.
With 25 nationalities represented among our team members, different languages, cultures and perspectives are part of what makes our community what it is.

But the BioMarket is about much more than food. It’s a chance for our community to share, discover and enjoy different creations and products.

How will you get to school today?
Today is Car Free Day — a reminder that the way we travel can also be a way to care for our environment.
Whether it’s cycling, walking, taking public transport or sharing a car, there are different ways to make our journeys a little more sustainable.
Our Principal has a message for our families: join the movement and choose a more sustainable way to get to school whenever possible.

We’re in Revista SÁBADO.
What happens when sustainability is not simply something we teach, but something we practise every day?
This Sunday, Aprendizes will be at Cidade Do Zero, in Lisbon, bringing two dimensions of our educational approach beyond the school gates: our zero-waste kitchen and a conversation about the school of the future.
👉 At 10:30, Chef Joana Xardoné will lead From Garden to Plate: Cooking Without Waste.
👉 At 12:00, Eunice Maia will join the round table Education is Transformation: What School Do We Want for the Future?
From our garden to our kitchen, from the classroom to the wider community, we believe education happens through experience. And together we do the change.

We're joining !
Sustainability isn't a topic we teach. It's part of how we live, every day, in everything we do at Aprendizes.
This year, we bring two moments to the festival:
A showcooking with , using local and organic ingredients, some straight from our own school garden, with a focus on using every part of a product and reducing food waste in the kitchen.
A panel on the future of education, with Eunice Maia joining Tiago Pereira and Rodrigo Castro, around the theme "Educar é Transformar: Que escola queremos para o futuro?" ("Educating is Transforming: What school do we want for the future?")

Today, our Secondary students took part in their elections, while Middle school students were introduced to the assembly and the role they can play in their school community.
At Aprendizes, student voice and participation are part of everyday school life. Through the Assembly, Student Council and other opportunities to contribute, students are encouraged to share ideas, listen to different perspectives and take an active role in decisions that affect their school experience.
Today was another opportunity to put these values into practice — and a reminder that democracy starts with having a voice and knowing how to use it.

No dia 15 de setembro, às 18h, recebemos a autora de Navegando o Luto Infantil na Aprendizes para o lançamento do livro e uma sessão de autógrafos.
Um momento para conhecer a obra, conversar sobre um tema delicado e importante e refletir sobre como podemos apoiar crianças e adolescentes perante a perda.
