🌐 Digital education is not the future – it is the present!
Today, 23 September, the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility took part in the final conference of the Erasmus+ project “Wonder Learning for Digital Natives”, held at Europe House Skopje.
💡 The conference focused on digital transformation in education, the development of digital competencies, and the application of new technologies and artificial intelligence in the classroom.
The Director of the National Agency, MSc Ana Mihajlov, emphasized that technology is an integral part of young people’s lives and should be used in a smart, safe, inclusive, and responsible way.
“It is not a question of whether technology should be part of the classroom, but how we can make that transformation smart, inclusive, safe, and humane,” Mihajlov stated.
🇪🇺 The National Agency continues to support Erasmus+ initiatives that contribute to modern, inclusive, and high-quality education.

On 8 September we opened our doors to the families and to the educational and local community of EB1/PE do Monte, to show and share two years of work with seven international partners. The Wonder Learning for Digital Natives starts from a simple idea: we learn better from wonder, and technology comes afterwards, in the service of curiosity. It was a Multiplier Event in which we set out, once again, to share all the final results, the mobility activities and the educational materials created within the Erasmus+ project with the whole community. What stays with us: 25 hours of accredited training, 42 teachers trained and freely available materials for anyone who wants to apply the Wonder Learning methodology. Thank you to everyone who came!

Curiosity as a Driver of Learning
Today, the Public Institution Institute for the Development of Pre-University Education of Sarajevo Canton organised a professional development training programme for primary and subject teachers, focusing on the implementation of the Wonder Learning concept and process writing within the subjects Bosnian Language and Literature, Croatian Language and Literature, and Serbian Language and Literature.
Through interactive activities, reflection, and group work, participants explored ways in which curiosity, a sense of wonder, and meaningful learning can be integrated into everyday teaching practice. Particular emphasis was placed on connecting contemporary learning approaches with the Sarajevo Canton curriculum and designing learning activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and the active engagement of students in the learning process.
The training was delivered within the framework of the Erasmus+ Wonder Learning Project, in which the Institute actively participates with the aim of linking European educational practices with the needs and priorities of the Sarajevo Canton education system.
The professional development programme was facilitated by the Institute’s staff members Hatidža Šaljić, Nermina Usejnovski, and Altijana Alić.
