Devil in Me

The past few days have been tough, and it took us a moment to gather our thoughts and write this.

We lost a friend, a hero, and a true inspiration. What started as one of the main characters in the development of our culture, turned into someone we were proud to call a friend, sharing stages, touring, and making music together.

It all goes back 30 years ago in Faro. Matos’ old band, Criminal Waste, was playing a show and dropped a cover of "Good Looking Out". Poli was in the pit losing his mind non stop stage dives and sing-alongs. Right after the set, the first time they ever talked was about their passion for . From that day on, they became inseparable, and that very spark is what eventually brought Devil In Me to life.

That connection came full circle 20 years ago in Lisbon. After playing a gig together, Lou and Craig woke up at the crack of dawn just to hit the studio with us and track "Back Against the Wall" before literally sprinting to the airport to catch a flight for their own show that same day. That’s pure heart, real brotherhood, and true hardcore ethic.

Thank you, Lou, , .of.it.all & You changed our lives, and your spirit will live on through us till the end. Rest in Power Lou 🖤🖤
