Qatart is a community of Qatar-based handmade makers of art, craft and design, with a key principle that all products must be handmade and designed in Qatar. Via our social media presence, newsletters and markets, our members can promote and sell their unique, handmade products. ABOUT
It was founded in 2011 as the brainchild of two like-minded artists Dominika Bozic and Gabi Pezo. At present the community boasts over 60 members from about 30 countries. Their handcrafts range from jewelry, bags, clothing, paintings, illustrations, graphic designs, greeting cards, stationery, craft kits and toys, home decors, furniture and accessories to party supplies. These products are one-of-a-kind, handmade and not mass produced, oftentimes with the option of customization for a truly unique experience. QatART’s board team currently consists of 4 dedicated members, who volunteer in managing memberships, media relations and PR, spreading of information within its community, organizing events for members as well as handmade markets at Katara Art Studio held about twice a month from October till March. GOALS
- to establish and grow a diverse art & craft community that is a key player in the creative landscape of Qatar
- to develop skills and professional standing of its members through collaboration, best practice sharing and workshops
- to safeguard the integrity of community’s core principle: designed and handmade in Qatar
- its handmade markets to become well known in Qatar and beyond

We had our pre-summer breakfast gathering today, and it was truly wonderful! A huge thank you to all the amazing ladies who joined us this morning. Your presence made the gathering extra special, and we’re looking forward to many more get-togethers and memorable moments with the team in the future.

When botany becomes art, and leaves become colors, you will paint without paint and the result: cards kissed by leaves.
This Saturday with , create natural paints from plants and make naturally dyed cards using leaves and flowers. This is where botany meets brushstroke!
Zero experience needed. Everything is provided.
Your only job? Show up and get a little messy.

حين يصبح علم النبات فنّاً، وتتحوّل الأوراق إلى ألوان، ستلوّنون بلا ألوان، والنتيجة: بطاقاتٌ قبّلتها الأوراق.
هذا السبت برفقة ، اصنعوا ألواناً طبيعية من النباتات، وابتكروا بطاقاتٍ مصبوغةٍ طبيعياً باستخدام أوراق الشجر والزهور! ستدركون كيف يلتقي علم النبات بضربة الفرشاة.
