August is a sweet, playful and affectionate 1-year-and-2-month-old girl who is ready to finally discover what life outside the shelter is all about.
August’s story didn’t have the best beginning.
She was found together with her brothers among the rubbish. When their rescuer came to feed them, they were incredibly happy to see her, and it was clear that they were very hungry.
After feeding them for a week, she knew she couldn’t leave them there any longer. She brought them safely to her shelter, where August has grown up surrounded by care and safety.
But sadly, she has experienced very little of the world outside her kennel. Apart from necessary care, such as being spayed, August has hardly had the opportunity to leave her kennel or experience everyday life. Because of this, new people, places, sounds and experiences may feel a little overwhelming for her at first.
August loves attention from people and is always happy to receive affection. She also really enjoys playing with other dogs and has so much youthful energy to share.
At her age, August deserves so much more than a kennel. She needs space to run, explore, play and learn. Most importantly, she needs someone who will patiently show her what the world outside the shelter has to offer.
Her future family will need to give her time, patience and gentle guidance. She will need to learn about walks, new environments and all those everyday things that other dogs may already be familiar with.
August has so much love and energy to give. She is ready for someone who will give her the time she needs to find her confidence and discover the happy life she has been waiting for.
Could you be the person August has been waiting for? 💕

Max is an approximately 5-year-old Husky mix with the sweetest heart.
Max is not a dog who looks for trouble. He is a dog who waits.
He is friendly with people, and when someone enters his kennel and simply stays with him for a few minutes, he completely melts. Those few minutes of attention mean everything to him.
You can see how happy he becomes. He wants to run back and forth, full of excitement, as if he is finally free.
But the reality is that there is no real space for him to run. He is safe, but he is still behind a fence. 🥺
And when someone walks away, Max cries.
Not because he is difficult, but because he doesn’t want to lose someone again.
Max also lives alongside other dogs and never looks for conflict. Even when the dogs are close together, he does not cause problems.
Max’s story began years ago together with his friend Bruno, a Labrador. They were rescued together from Kill Shelter Codlea.
But later, everything changed.
They ended up on chains after the person who had rescued them left. They were told they ate too much, and that if nobody wanted them, they would be returned to the shelter.
They had already survived the shelter once.
People fought for time. For a chance. To make sure Max and Bruno would not disappear behind those shelter bars again.
He is safe for now, but this is not home.
Max is healthy, neutered, and vaccinated. 💚
Please help us find Max the forever home he deserves.

Choosing a rescue dog means giving a second chance to a life that has already known fear, hunger, loneliness and abandonment.
Behind every pair of eyes is a story. Dogs who have survived the streets, crowded shelters and days without knowing where their next meal will come from. Simply waiting for someone to see them, choose them and bring them home.
When you rescue a dog from Romania, you’re not only saving that one dog.
The space they leave behind can mean another dog can be rescued from the streets and brought to safety.
One adoption can create a chain reaction.
One dog goes home. Another gets a place. Another life gets a chance. ❤️
These dogs don’t need to be perfect. They just need someone willing to give them a chance.
Adopt. Foster. Donate. Share.
Help us get them off the streets and into safe, loving homes.

Tjebo is a happy and affectionate 4-year-old boy who is ready to leave his past behind and finally start the life he deserves.
Tjebo’s story didn’t have the best beginning.
He was found alone in the woods, right next to a busy road. It is believed that he was deliberately abandoned there.
Thankfully, someone noticed him in time and he was rescued.
And despite everything that happened to him, Tjebo hasn’t lost his love for people. 🫶🏼
He is a sweet, enthusiastic boy who simply loves being around you.
Tjebo absolutely loves cuddles and attention. If you tell him it’s time to go on an adventure, he is ready immediately with his tail wagging and his whole body full of excitement.
Going for walks, exploring new places, spending time together and simply enjoying life — that is what Tjebo loves most.
Tjebo would be a wonderful companion for an active and loving couple who enjoys both adventure and cozy evenings at home.
Someone who wants to take him on walks and explore the world together, but who will also happily let him curl up beside them on the couch afterwards.
Tjebo is neutered and ready for his forever home.He doesn’t want to keep looking back at what happened to him.
He is looking for someone to love, someone to trust, and someone to share all of life’s little adventures with.
Could you be the person Tjebo has been waiting for? 💕

Ares is a strong and beautiful boy with the kindest eyes. Behind that powerful appearance is a sweet dog who absolutely melts when he gets attention, pets, and cuddles. 🥹
Ares loves attention from people and enjoys playing with the puppies next to him. He can be friendly and playful with other dogs, but he needs his own home and must be the only dog in the household.
Ares is also very protective of his food, so he needs an experienced owner who understands his needs and can manage this safely. For this reason, we are looking for a home where he can be the only child, without other dogs or children.
Ares is a strong boy who needs training, structure, consistency, and patient guidance. We are looking for someone who is confident and experienced with strong dogs, preferably someone who knows and understands AmStaff/Pitbull-type breeds.
He needs an owner who is willing to put the time and effort into helping him learn, while also giving him the love and affection he clearly craves. 🧡
Ares isn’t looking for just any home — he’s looking for the perfect home.
A home where he can feel safe, understood, and loved. Someone who will see beyond his strength and recognize the sweet boy behind those beautiful eyes.
Because when Ares gets pets and attention, he simply melts.

We’re incredibly eager and enthusiastic about helping rescue dogs, but we’re also learning along the way. Experiences like this remind us of how important it is to build a strong foundation and to make sure that every decision we make puts the wellbeing and safety of the dogs first.
For that reason, we’ve decided that going forward, we will no longer facilitate adoptions to countries outside of the Netherlands. Adoption within the Netherlands will remain possible, and pick-up from the Netherlands will always be an option.
This wasn’t an easy decision, as our goal has always been to help as many dogs as possible. But we believe it’s the right decision for us at this stage, and one that will allow us to continue growing in a responsible and sustainable way.
Most importantly, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stepped in, helped, supported, thought along with us, or simply made themselves available when we needed it. We are incredibly grateful for every single person involved ❤️
We’re taking this experience with us, learning from it, and moving forward with even more care and responsibility.
